Just joined the forum but want to say I am very happy to be involved in this launch and see huge potential for this currency going forward! Have spent considerable time today talking to investors in the tech space who are taking a serious and very interested look at the ICO.

Crypto currencies are a very hot topic with gaming operators right now and interest in them and usage of them will only increase with time and Electroneum is incredibly well placed to take advantage of that

As an iOS user I can't wait for the mobile app to be launched on the app store and to start mining!

Do you have any white paper?

Thanks for those kind words, that is exactly what we are aiming at. We have some other tech superstars on board, but they've not come out publicly yet, hopefully Duncan's example will help.

We also have a couple of celebrities, including a couple of sports stars. Hopefully I can encourage them to tweet out about Electroneum and gain us even more exposure.

The Electrononeum is built on its own blocks-one of which is already very happy.This is a necessary bonus.This project can be implemented a lot.I really like the fact that the Electroneum can be controlled through smart phones and extracted by mobile miners, which is an advantage of the project

This is EXACTLY what Im talking about. Ether IS groundbreaking tech, but what people dont see is the backing it had. It had capable friends to say the least. That had A LOT to do with their success in the marketplace.

The people behind a coin is just as important as the coin itself.

Simple.

But people miss it.

Look at the developers this coin has just from the start. Many of them are there to move the coin to mass adoption.

Yes, those two words that many have given up on. Many hear the term and just laugh. It hasn't happened yet, not even with Bitcoin.

Even with all the power players behind Ether, they didnt target individual users.

Electroneum is. They have experience bringing new ideas to the real world. This is just another example.

Its amazing that we have caught Duncan Logan's eye so early in the project.

I think all the coins that are available in the ICO should be split by % of investment.
Instead of a set number of coins going for 1 BTC (150-100), if someone invests 5% total amount raised ICO, he should get him 5% of coins being sold. This ensure that all coins get distributed as well.

Hi, We have our own blockchain forked from Bytecoin (AFTER the giant bytecoin / monero security patch!).

We've chosen and modified Bytecoin for a few reasons.

1. Bytecoin is a top 25 coin by market cap so the blockchain stands up to huge demand and transaction levels
2. The cryptonight algorithm that underlies the blockchain is CPU friendly and ANTI - ASIC. Windows GUI Miner

How secure is the Electroneum offline wallet?

Offline wallets (also called paper wallets or cold storage) are the most secure way to store cryptocurrency, yet curiously very few cryptocurrencies have them.

Electroneum has one that is (of course!) easier to use than most, if not all of the others.

There are 255 characters per byte and we use 32 bytes of REALLY random data to make the key. That means there are 255^32 (to the power of). That is a LARGE number. Really large. You are probably thinking large is something like your last credit card bill, but this is even larger. In fact, the number is larger than the number of hydrogen atoms in the known universe! Tt might be more ATOMS than there are in the known universe, we haven't counted them, and be honest, neither have you

If someone were to take every single computer on earth and try and brute force your spend key, they would still have to wait more than 50 trillion trillion trillion trillion years to get a result.
