Firstly, in our case only a minor share of assets will go into development of the platform as the majority will go into real estate projects. Secondly, we are focusing on distressed real estate deals. This means we will buy real estate at favorable prices, prices below the market value. These distressed deals lead to a higher yield due to the underlying value. Our team has years of experience in distressed assets and focus mainly in the SEE region. Also we are following other real estate projects and their progress. We believe we differ from them in some key points and we don’t intend to disrupt with blockchain technology immediately but progressively, which is more of a realistic approach. Big interest from HNWIs, VCs and Family offices is confirming that we are on the right track. We communicate openly and are working every day intensive to reach our goals. As we already reached the softcap, we believe our project can be a successful real estate project on the blockchain. Still, we accept also all the concerns and critics that have an argument behind it. We do yes. The future is looking very promising. Do you think your startup can take root in everyday life?

In the last 1-1.5years there was several successful ICOs in real estate. BUT no one work in way they promised. I think this project just another failure attempt in this area.

We see blockchain affecting many sectors and real estate is no exception. The ICO that I will be reviewing here is another such example: Elements Estates. ELES is the name of their token.

What I find fascinating about such projects is that they have a physical aspect. They will be working with real estate, real and concrete!

Elements Estates is a blockchain based real estate platform and like any real estate platform, they will have a portfolio. They say their portfolio will consist of real estate deriving from banks’ distressed assets. And here comes the function of ELES tokens; they will be used to purchase and rent these properties.

The team claims that distressed assets will appreciate in value in time and such assets are normally reserved for big players but with Elements Estates, small players can play that game too.

The token supply will decrease with every transaction and that is another advantage for token holders. Real estate is considered a safe and stable investment, but what about adding the transparency of blockchain to the mix? Elements Estates just aims to do that! Not a bad idea indeed.

By now you should be asking yourself; but where will these properties be? For starters, they will go for SEE region, Southeast Europe. Though a small part goes to development of the platform, most of the fund will be used to buy properties, they will be tourism, commercial and residential properties in the SEE region.
