Isn’t an ICO simply a way for fund managers to get around investment regulation?

No. An ICO is not about avoiding industry regulation. Instead, Finles has chosen the ICO in order to “kickstart” the Fund and attract the investment needed, in a way that’s quick, simple and transparent. In addition, the ICO offers investors the choice of when they want to exit the Fund by selling their FundCoin tokens on a cryptocurrency exchange. As Regulators around the world will catch up with these innovations, it is to be expected that rather sooner than later these cryptocurrencies can become more standard and regulated.
