The reason is actually so that the community benefits from people experienced in gaming and business in general.  As veterans in gaming, we've seen time and time again that people that are unfamiliar with the industry, and evaluation companies generally, almost always make poor investment decisions.  The Nitro panel is a safeguard against this.  But even though these people are curating the list of Promising Game Studios, the ultimate decision of which of those to fund ultimately lies with the NOX token holders.

You say that the owners of the tokens will be an important part of the project, but, nevertheless, only by the company's specialists will be able to choose which projects should be funded. It seems to me that this is not very fair in relation to investors. They should also take part in this.
You are absolutely right, investors should also take part in this process. That is why they will have such an opportunity;) After the team of specialists selects a prospective project, it is approved or not approved by the holders of the tokens.
I believe that voting isn’t the most effective tool in this situation. Imagine that there will be 51% of vote "for" the project by the holders of tokens, and 49% "against". Then the administration of Nitro will receive a large wave of disturbances and it won’t be in vain.

The solution won’t follow this pattern. In order let the project to be accepted for financing in Nitro, it won’t only be necessary to get more “for” votes than “against” ones, but also a certain minimum number of “for” votes.

If the company receives funding from Nitro, then what part of its income should it give to Nitro in the future?

Funded games will share revenue every 3 months with NITRO in the form of NOX:
- 30% of net revenue up to 3x of the funded amount, subsequently only 20% of the revenue will be shared.
- The sharing will last for 5 years, beginning from the date of funding
Thank for your answer! Tell me please, if you’ve already invested in any company’s project and this company pays you a percentage of income, can this company ask for investment in a new project?

Yup, definitely!  Funding is definitely not a one shot deal, the more this happens the more all of the participants in the ecosystem benefit.

Hello everyone. I learned that the developers will send to the pool to fund new projects some of the means that the platform will get from the developers of computer games. Does anyone know what percentage of the total amount will be sent to this pool?

We don't have any specific plans at this point to curate and fund computer games, our focus will be on mobile for the early stages of the project - we don't want to spread ourselves too thin Wink

That being said, we know that the community is going to play a huge part in the success of Nitro and it does sound like there's a lot of interest in this.  We're definitely listening and considering all of your requests!

Good afternoon to all the readers of the forum! The project is good; I wanted to invest in game industry in other way but I encountered monotony of options available, and Nitro struggles against it very well. By the way, does anybody know if there is already a preliminary list of computer games, in the development of which one can invest his money?

Yup, it's a really difficult industry to invest in, especially for those outside of the US.  The Nitro team will actually be curating games, and then token holders will be able to vote on which games should receive funding.  Currently, Nitro backer iCandy Interactive (ASX:ICI) has hundreds of games in their portfolio with 348 million users!

Hi everybody. The project is interesting, but what a pity that potential investors won’t have an opportunity to interact with producers and publishers of computer games. Do you think such an opportunity can appear in the future?

I think it's definitely a possibility in the future, though for the short- to medium-term our main focus will be on developing the API and SDKs for mobile games.  Those same APIs could certainly be used for desktop games though.

I hope that your project will really help small companies that are just starting their way in the world of computer games. Have you got preliminary agreements on cooperation with such companies? Can you disclose their names and what are they currently doing?

Nitro have started and are receiving proposals from gaming studios. More details will be updated along the way!
That’s great; I’ll be waiting for appearance of new information. And if I’m an owner of a small game studio in Russia, how can I contact you in order to negotiate on the details of possible cooperation?

Greetings to everybody! Can someone explain why it is difficult for small gaming studios to break into the stock exchange and will Nitro company somehow contribute to it?

There are various reasons as to why small gaming studios find it hard to break into the stock exchange and receive funding. One of it will be that it is difficult to attract funding or even getting listed on stock exchange due to little or no track records of promising game studios necessary to assess the ability of the team.

Hence, Nitro is here to solve that by providing a platform to provide fundings for small gaming studios!
Does it mean that it doesn’t matter if the company has any great success in the market or not? Can you tell me please, how will you estimate the prospects of a small game studio then?
