Unfortunately, yes. Last day to submit your ETH address was February 16th, unclaimed tokens were burned after that date.

There are no words about 17th of February in the letter. Just turned all the icons into zero.
To be honest there was all explained on the website once you logged in: "after the sale, all the unsold and unclaimed coins will be burned".
