As Richard Ettl mentioned once, "competitors per field: pharma under SkyCell we have Envirotainer, C-Safe and Vaqtec. We are taking about 70% of business from Envirotainer and C-Safe, 30% from Vaqtec; we also see a lot of customers upgrading from cheaper solutions (Softbox or inhouse solutions) to us. Customers said that they switched to Smart Containers because of the following:
1) superior performance (last year less than 0.1% temp deviation)
2) total cost saving (SC are lighter which saves money in logistics)
3) door to door (not having to offload the container in countries like Brazil, Iran, Saudi etc.

Would be great if they can raise some more millions in private sale. My guess is that 15 million raised is not enough for them to expand their fleet (as they intend to do). I assume that this project is pretty interesting for large institution, so let's hope that the private presale will be a huge success!

I think $ 15 million is enough for their business expansion because this project does not have a Soft cap during the ICO period. So the team has thought seriously why without a soft cap. In addition Smartcontainer has a real product that works, so the funds needed for development is not as big as when building from scratch

The team is working hard to secure more partnerships and freight containers to further expand SmartContainers as a whole. Their target this year is to build more containers as there will be more demand. Currently, SC have 1200 Skycell containers, aiming to add 800 more to reach the goal of 2000 container by end of this year. Stay tune for announcement.
