Who do you consider to be your main competition?

We have near-direct competition in the form of websites like centz and giftoken who both did unsuccessful ICO's. As it seems they lack the connections to retailers and financial backing that we have. Indirectly, we compete with TenX and other debit card companies that work with crypto. We stand out because of our backing and because of our existing networks, we are ready to roll on day one. Unlike these companies, we already have deals with major brands to give us significant discounts that we can pass on to our users and we have the know how to keep it rolling forward. More importantly than backing and existing networks, we are completely decentralized. We also avoid fiat and fees entirely rather than charge extra for the conversion like most service providers.

I must say that this is an interesting project. I think that the creation of such services, will initiate the development of crypto in this area. But unfortunately, all this moves very slowly. And before the widespread use of zeex it will take a long time. But it is obvious that this is the necessary direction today.

I guess in the crypto world they don't have too many of others that will have this kind of hype.

And not to mention the number of partners Zeex has contracted with...competition can be worried Wink

i don't think this discussion is related to zeex project or not ,

Why does Zeex have its own token? Why not just use Ether or Bitcoin?Whats the benefit of that, wouldnt be easier to just use eth/btc?

Zeex is not only about gift cards Cheesy Zeex has a lot of other things that are not being mentioned much.

Is there no fees even in case I'm paying with Ripple?

Zeex doesn't charge any fees at all, the only fee on the platform you may experience are network fees related to the execution of the smart contract (aka gas), but Zeex itself does not charge any fee for conversion. To begin with only ZIX and ETH will be accepted on the Zeex platform, but as time goes on we plan to add support for many more tokens!

This translates to that you can only pay with ZIX and ETH.Ripple is not accepted on ZEEX platform.

So, for the beginning they will only accept the ETH and ZIX tokens, other crypto currencies will also be added later.

I would prefer if it was only ETH and ZIX without other currencies, to make sure ZIX keeps the price.

The ZIX token will certainly have extra function, for example, an extra discount when purchasing coupons, something like that. That way ZIX tokens will always have their value.

But still if the site from which you wish to purchase doesnt have a special deal with Zeex you dont get any special discount. So it has to come from some mutual agreement between the two companies.

If the site is not on ZEEX platform you won't be able to use it, simple as that.

Seeing that they have 400+ partners, I can't imagine that theybwouldn't have 99% of the interest covered.

Maybe one day you could even use zeex to pay your bills. That would be very useful. For now I think it will be very useful for purchasing clothes and such amenities.
