Hi everyone, wanted to bring to your attention Chris’ vision for Web Dev 3.0 as described in our latest project update: https://t.co/CAiF91wzoT

Chris believes what will really unlock the potential of Web 3.0 is providing shared features and powerful tools to developers who are currently working in silos, repeating the same tasks for every project

He talks again about Cardstack's value proposition to developers at the very end: https://youtu.be/lHNEG2PYky0?t=2732

In a new blog published Monday, Chris goes into further detail about what Web 3.0 means to him: https://medium.com/cardstack/rethinking-the-web-3-0-experience-9b5fe508aa77

Throughout time, the Team has issued a few developer updates! here's a look back on the Electron App update:

https://medium.com/cardstack/developer-update-cardstack-electron-app-c6710aa55171
I always enjoy reading your updates. Loved this an Electron app solution. Will this one be automatically porting customers' web apps to desktop version? Might be something complex. Looking forward for hearing more.

The 'all or nothing' approach to decentralization will never win mass adoption.

Let's give people easy ways to progressively decentralize their workflows as much as they want, at the pace that they're comfortable with.

Mate, from what I understnd this 3 projects are similar. And if they have competitors they must have a comparison with other similar projects (at last this making all good projects).
How tokens can be usefull right now if they still not used? May be they will be usefull, but only when product will be ready and tokens will be used. But in anyway native coins with own blockchain have much more value.

In a nutshell, the token confers digital access rights to the Cardstack platform, starting with the user dashboard on cardstack.com - which is a web application built on the Cardstack Framework, with more functionality to come.

But Essentia and Bluzelle doing same thing. So what different here? And Imnot sure about Bluzelle, but Essentia will have own blockchain soon (by roadmap in Q4 this year). So what advantages have Cardstack if they evem will dont have own blcokchain? Who need ERC tokens now? People dissappointed in ERC tokens and only own blcokchain have real value.

You might want to refer to Cardstack's Whitepaper for project specifics, you should then be able to compare Cardstack with other projects and see exactly what Cardstack is all about and how it is different. In what concerns ERC20 tokens, they'll most certainly be useful now and in the future.

Am really considering adding more of the token to my portfollio but am worried and looking into projects that can have any good response to bitcoin bull run in the next 1-2 years. At least A $1000 in most dumped altcoin projects , it will go a long way when the market revives. They will at least work towards the ICO price to start with which be in high multiples

As I understand correctly they going to make the same things like Essentia and Bluzelle projects. They going to make decentralized internet 3.0 for storing decentraized apps as well. And seems they are quite closer by their roadmap to deliver product. Essentia will have maiinet in the end of this year for example. When Cardstack going to launch maiinet?

Cardstack is a framework for building the experience layer of the decentralized internet. So it's different from Essentia and Bluzelle. There is no mainnet as Cardstack isn't building a new blockchain.

Is there going to be mainnet in the future? because many projects are now building new blockchain,
hopefully Cardstack is the same

It's possible, but at the moment there are no plans to create a proprietary blockchain for Cardstack.

A Note From Dot Blockchain Media, Chief Strategy Officer, Benji Rogers

“The future of rights management will be one in which machines will augment the work of humans and enable the music industry to work at a speed and scale fit for the digital era. Warner has fully embraced this vision, and are leading with a data-first and future-facing strategy that will benefit not only those artists and writers that they represent but the music industry as a whole.”
