Yeah, but I would rather hire someone who is 10x smarter than me to convert my ideas into actual code.
I just need to understand it well enough not to be wasting their time.
I'm building my business from scratch around the GitHub workflow example and I intend to build it on the Cardstack Framework.

Great to hear, let us know if you have any questions.

I think it's pretty exciting stuff. And it ties into Cardstack's philosophy of progressive decentralization — the idea that we should start with what's easy and familiar for users (like a cloud-hosted service) and let them move to greater decentralization (locally hosted, etc)

Thanks for the support, we are all very excited Smiley

Hey there, glad you asked! The Electron app basically makes decentralization possible. Right now we’re running the Cardstack Hub off of the cloud (eg AWS). Electron creates an environment so that you can run the Hub locally — like on your laptop.
Being portable and decentralized requires more than just access to the source code. You need a practical way to setup the right environment for the code to run. Cardstack desktop is that environment.
So what you're seeing here is the Cardstack Team taking steps to make Cardstack be able to run in all sorts of different environments.

And it's true, it was not so fat. But maybe it's for the better, after all, the project is very good and there is a possibility of good growth on the stock exchanges. But for a subscription all the same it is not bad accrued, do not forget that a couple of times if I'm not mistaken, the term of holding iso moved. I wonder how they calculated who chose the payment option on the air. The first time I see this in a bounty.

I wanted to share a few updates on what our team has been up to the past week.
Starting with a couple of improvements to the Cardstack Hub! ICYMI, the Cardstack Hub is our open-source, Node.js-based data orchestration layer that lets apps easily talk to on- and off-chain data sources. This means developers can create user experiences that reflect a user’s complete digital life, across the cloud and decentralized Internet.

The Hub works by indexing and caches data using plugins. That data is then brought forward to applications using APIs/Websockets. For example, during our TGE, the Hub indexed realtime on-chain fundraiser data using an Ethereum/Geth plugin and served it to our Dashboard.

So here's how we're working to update the Hub:

1) By improving the Hub’s approach to bulk indexing. Currently, large indexing events slow down the Hub’s response time for user requests (for example, logging in to an app). The improvements we are implementing will allow bulk indexing events to be completed in the background, so that user requests can be processed in the meantime.

2) By improving the Hub’s connection to Geth. We are adding logic to ensure the Hub automatically retries connecting to Geth if a connection is lost. We are adjusting our Terraform scripts to provision optimal infrastructure in AWS for our Geth nodes.

We've also been working on a few user experience improvements, such as:

1) Implementing new functionality on our dashboard. We will release an update soon to our Dashboard app that will allow CARD token contributors to view diverse statistics about their token — such as token balances, and token histories across multiple Cardstack contracts. This builds on our MVP and brings us another step toward our goal of building a cohesive user experience for the decentralized Internet.

2) Building styling and motion for Card UI. As we build our card-based user interface, we are using the CSS Blocks framework to scope our CSS to individual components of the interface. Our lead developer and Ember core team member Ed Faulkner is building styling and motion that respects the boundaries of our cards from a user experience standpoint.

3) Developing design system. Cardstack’s design system aims to give makers and designers the tools to assemble cards easily and get quickly to a working product. This design system will be focused on making current crypto workflows more usable—so that early adopters of Cardstack will be able to experience and visualize the physical transfer of assets and information on the blockchain.

This design system will be demonstrated with the launch of Cardspace, a token-operated content environment for experimenting with Card based UX design.

That's it for this week's update—we'd love to answer any questions you might have! Thanks again for your support.

Congrats with a new adviser. Great addition to your highly experienced team. I've just watched an Introduction to the Cardstack Hub and this really very useful for better understanding.

Thank you petushka! We appreciate the support. You might also enjoy this article on Cardstack’s plan to create a better user experience.
Thanks for sharing. You are not only developing an innovative approach that will enable developers significantly improve their experienced but also are making a great contribution into Ethereum ecosystem and its mass adoption!

We don't have any other information other than the fact that tokens should be released for all Batches simultaneously within 30 days since the TGE ended on June, Could you please elaborate on what exactly is taking too long?

Hi there, the tokens will be released soon. However, we do not have any details. Rest assured, we are all very excited to have the tokens released, and we know the community is waiting for them.

I suppose this plan is very nice and good!
Amazing design, witting project, very nice vision!

Thanks for the support! All the best to you.
