But what can you do if someone wants to participate, then you need to provide documents.

KYC is a requirement in order to be regulatory compliant. It is increasingly more common in crypto because of the regulatory crackdown from earlier this year. It is indeed a requirement for contributing to the Cardstack Token Generation Event.

That's correct. You don't need to go through KYC with Bitcoin Suisse. KYC verification will still be required and you will have to provide those details to participate in the token sale.
