What advantages does Verasity offer over current platforms like YouTube, twitch etc, unless there are clear advantages there is very little chance of getting adoption let alone mass adoption

I also don't see any limits concerning the opportunities of a decentralized video sharing platform, but the fight against the incumbents will be hard.

Well, why not. It will be possible to watch advertising or make micro-payments to the author and watch content without advertising. I understand that this is how it will work.

There will also be more projects later on seeking for funds so the question is whether the situation will overall become better for individual projects and I don't think so.
