Was wondering how orange pill in a pack cards sold out so quickly but just seen their total number of cards for series one was 100k

I also think its a good idea for all of us to reach out to your local game/card shop, anywhere where cards are sold. Ask them if they carry Cardsmiths currency series 1. If not sound disappointed when you hang up and in one week call back and ask again. Got to get these cards in as many shops as possible. Once crypto winter is over these cards will be a hot collectable. Actually all physical bitcoins will be in high demand when BTC goes up. They always are.

Imagine if every time someone bought a collector box they received an Email linking this exact thread. Promoting a community of Cardsmiths activists where you could show off your cards, trade, etc. It would be a neat gesture and a great way to grow the community. Of course then why wouldn’t Cardsmiths just make their own trading forum? Pros and cons to both.

That gives me an idea. With each Ebay sell, I'll start to include a note about this thread and any future sites.  Most collectors will want additional cards to complete a set

I was just searching for any other forums or discussions online, i couldn't find any but found this:
https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/326298

Edit: Looks like an ok data base to add pics to, they have categories for error cards, gemstones, etc.
Unfortunately, they do not have all 62 cards listed yet, or any of the MR cards that i can see. I have sent them a message.

I would like to see us all help fill that database!

Has anyone pulled a large redemption?Huh I have not heard of anyone pulling anything larger than .01 btc
With apparently over 20x 1 ETH cards and more than 5x 1BTC cards in the series, I am also surprised a big one hasn’t shown up yet.
It would be good if they could at least verify these coins are waiting to be distributed.
We may never know. being that the 1 BTC card is a non collectable ballet wallet. There is no incentive to resell it for collectability profits. So the only reason we would know is if someone wanted to share the fact that they just won a BTC. I also think there is a bigger following for these cards than we realize. A lot of people dont know this forum exists so to us it may feel like there is only 20 of us collecting, lol

Kinda feel like we have to have 100 cases between us tho…. Non scientific guess

I believe Jupityr said at one point that series 2 was already completed. I was hoping they wouldnt release series 2 until series 1 was sold out or close to sold out. Heres some non scientific data i was playing with last night. There were a total of 2125 cases for sale when project opened in July. As of last night there were 537 cases left for sale on their website. That would mean that around 75% of the cards have been sold in 8 months. So predicted sell out date would be around June. But, heres the caveat. Its possible that Cardsmiths dosent have all cases loaded on website. Also many of the cases are probably at third party sellers. So just because cardsmiths sold them dosent mean there in the customers hand yet. Either way encouraged by these numbers. I think we'll  be sold out in 2023

I would be surprised if more than a couple hundred full cases have been purchased by customers already. I could definitely be wrong...but the following doesn't seem to be large enough yet for 1000+ $1,400 cases to have been purchased. But even if they don't sell out in 2023, that is 100% fine with me Cool More time to collect some series 1 cards and hopefully get redemptions

2125 cases at 48 packs each, with 10 cards per pack, works out to 1.02M cards. So burning 62x62 = 3844 cards works out to around 0.3% of the total cards being burned. It's not enough to really raise the rarity on the base sets, which is why I think they should keep the burn / redemption programs going until they have burned at least a few tens of thousands of cards...

5 cards per pack right?
I think he meant box not pack, but math is right. Of the million cards i think roughly 24000 are refractors. Maybe another 5000 in MR and CF. So yes the redemption dosen't even scratch the surface of putting a dent in base cards. I would like to know what they are doing with those 3800 cards. They were elusive in that answer. Either way cool promo and probably more to come. Well on our way to having a very sought after btc trading card collection
Next promo should be.. turn in x sets, get a box.  That will get the sales going big time

I would suggest Hal Finney and Nick Szabo should get cards in the next series. Dorian should get a card too!
Great suggestions.
I would like to see cards for Ross Ulbricht, Charlie Shrem, Roger Ver (like these people or not, they are all a big part of bitcoin history)
And of course Mike Caldwell needs a card  Wink

Definitely Ross. Andreas Antonopolis. Maybe a moonman / astronaut card. Gox already got a card but a card for Karpeles in a Japanese prison jumpsuit would be fun. SBF in a jumpsuit, lol. Caroline Ellison dressed as Hermione with a wand making everyone's money dissapear. Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather Morgan doing a bitcoin rap. Do Kwon "Steady, Lads" card. Joker burning paper and saying "It's only money!". CZ and Brock Pierce trading stacks of BNC and Tether for a "stablecoin" card. Winklevoss Twins and Barry Silbert could be on the next-gen bagholders card, hehehe. Eric Vorhees could be laughing all the way to the bank, rolling the SatoshiDice.

Andreas and Charlie Shrem have already had their Rookie Cards printed in the Crypto Community Cards from Jumbucks back in 2014

Maybe nice to see an updated version!! Cheesy

I love the jumpsuit/prison stripes idea, although not for Ross, only those that stole from the crypto community should be portrayed in a negative light.

While on the topic of villains, the queen of crypto scams Ruja Ignatova (Onecoin) should be added.
