These refractor cards are super complex. I would say almost impossible to duplicate perfect. Multiple colors, foils, textured, numbered, thick cards. Really well done. Only problem is i put my boxes up in the closet and wasnt going to open them. What i learned was i have 0 self control. I opened them all. The thought of selling a box that may have a redemption card in it gives me anxiety.
Haha, to open or not to open.... I will be opening mine
With only 2125 cases available, these could become rare unopened, especially an unopened case

Indeed Cool
Which leads me to this question....
Will there be a list of the redemptions?
To add.. if there is, will it indicate if they have been redeemed yet?

You guys don't want anything left to the imagination.   Wink

At some point we will be posting the payment addresses for the various types of crypto rewards.  So you'll be able to at least see the outflows of the various amounts.

All Currency cards are foil-stamped with the Cardsmiths logo on the back.  The foil also has a particular pattern to it.

Cardsmiths cards are also much thicker than most other cards.  Even the base cards.

The Gemstone cards in particular are refractor style cards with laminate and UV coating.  The serial-numbering and the raised UV gemstone pattern pattern would be nearly impossible to duplicate.  I say this because it took us almost 6 months and $10's of thousands of dollars worth of sample runs to figure out how to get the gemstone pattern effect just right.

Ultimately, almost anything can be counterfeited, but we did as much as any company could to ensure that we made them as counterfeit-resistant as possible.

Much , Appreciate it JUPI . My colleague might have more Questions For Me , which i ask here.  Cheesy

Jupityr,
Can you tell us how many cases were/are made of the Cardsmiths cards? Also, what's the population of EACH card? That would go a long way in terms of sales, at least in here-where we know exactly what we're dealing with. I can tell you that I've spoke to friends on the phone about these, and it's been brought up about the "Redemption" timeframe, so? Any answers? Thanks for your help.  Smiley

*If no deadline set for redemptions....will it always stay that way? I ask because true collectors will put some box's aside, hoping that they'll increase in value.   Huh

Total 1st Edition production run was 2125 cases.

Regarding the redemption expiration, at this time there is no set cutoff for redemptions.  Most sports card companies limit redemptions to 3 years, but we understand that this is a bit of a different animal.  At some point we may do rolling phase outs for each series, but we would give plenty of notice for that to the market.  For example, "All Series 1 redemption requests must be received by XX/XX/XXXX" sort of thing.

This would be way, way down the road though.

Looks like someone its ahead of us . already complete set . missing one card  Huh

https://www.ebay.com/itm/144660429727?hash=item21ae6efb9f:g:PGwAAOSw04ti4Yd-

Not only that, he has multiple sets (2 missing 1-2 cards, and entire set of commons). Kinda weird if you ask me, but maybe he just bought a lot of cards early

Hes also selling sets of 12 boxes. Im guessing he bought a case or 2. The sooner they sell out the better. People will be trading these cards for decades. Get um while you can

I have been informed he is an early distributor like I am.
And yes.. nice to see sales already going.
Will set up a trading thread to facilitate trades Cheesy

an early distributer - looks like he was able to simply open as many sets as needed to get a full set - sell the rest. didnt have to buy any more than he absolutely needed. nice.

lol like a pre-mine.

Someone should ask him if he came across any redemptions while building those Smiley

The guys on YouTube who broke some packs got a redemption card. They didn't scratch it, so unfortunately i don't know what it was for  Lips sealed
