I don't know about the 5850...but the JHA algorithm isn't great on the newer R9 AMDs, even the 280X only gives ~2.5MH/s, compare that to the budget ($140 new) Nvidia 750Ti which does close to 4MH/s using only ~60W.

Thanks. I looked here and saw that a 5850 can do 2.5mh/s. Is that BS? Surely a 270X can do more than a 5850. Anyone have some R9270X settings they'd like to share?

Really? First complaint I've had. The payouts are all automated by the pool software, so it is unlikely they are wrong. Please PM me and I will look into it.
