How do I get my Linux wallet to stake? It's unlocked and been running for 2 days but no stake. Huh

How many coins do you have?

120k

120k is too low coinage to expect stake interest in 2 days. You need to have 10x more for that time frame ( this was in my case)

OK.

If my wallet got closed for an hour or so, would my minting revert back to the start again?

If in mean time you got your first stake, then it will not revert back. Otherwise unfortunately yes. So just leave your wallet 24/7 open till first stake. Best bet would be if you have it on your mining machine.

Just be patient and you'll see rewards afterward.
My wallet is now staking like crazy. I trained it well  Grin

Just noticed that my estimated time to stake is 19 days. What's the chances I don't need to do a system reboot in that time!

I think it's fair to say my wallet will never stake.  Embarrassed

No, just keep mining and your balance will grow, thus decreasing the stake time... Anyway forget that time counter in new wallet version.

BTW: how may coins do you mine per day?

I'm mining around 40k per day.

If my memory serves me correct, you will get your first stake with this tempo in 3-4 days.

It's just rough estimation, don't give it too much importance...

This coin is worthless and if you're holding coins you certainly shouldn't be hoping it "goes down more" - it's not going back up. It's junk and has no utility and no future.

Thank you for your ever-valuable and intelligent input. You are truly the hero we deserve.
+1

During all the ups and downs of the price the network hashps and difficulty are very high (and it has been like that for a long time) and I doubt the people behind those massive rigs that can produce that high hashps would mine JPC if they didn't see any future in the coin. I dont think they pointed their rigs to mine JPC and then just forgot to keep an eye on them Wink

What happend with price?
So great coin with fast transaction and lot of features :-/
There's only 8 BTC on buy orders at all exchanges. Most miners keep the coin instead of dumping it and take the advantage of staking it. I even see that the "top" is buying at this low price.

I see 16 BTC buy orders on mintpal and bittrex alone.  What is more important is the lower price gets people to panic sell, so I'm hoping it goes down even more.  The order depth is looking better and better the longer we stay at a lower price.  I hope the price scares more people into selling so they will remove their large sell orders and sell them for cheap.

Yes but those orders were cancelled when the price came close. Need to becareful when you see this happening.

"reservebalance" set via console is suppose to be persistent after wallet restart ?

and it still says 'Stacked' instead of 'Staked' in Transaction Types menu as i reported before.

icon is alright i guess, i like mainly how it does not have the big obtrusive shadow effect on it like the last one did..
new features seem to be working ok for me i think.. my POS estimate is 1,021 days lol

So congratulations your update is now officially Spoetnik Approved™
