I speak: LT, RU, EN

i only get 4.4MHash with my 290x Tri-X at 1100Mhz
as written in my message it is for the 14.6 amd driver. (now it is possible to use bin file made with other miner running on 14.6 if some people post them... )

i know, i got the 14.6 installed

Have you tried deleting .bin files in miners dir and restarting sgminer? It should recompile .bin file for a new driver...

06/19/11 17:51 Bought BTC 259684.77 for 0.0101
agreed i am not just saying it either i have scrapped together what little BTC i had to buy with low prices.

Same, although some might worry with the dropping price and network hash, I personally feel the coin has room to expand now that is isn't being dumped constantly by daily miners.  Nothing against them, if I had thousands of dollars into bigger rigs, I'd be more worried about ROI too given the general volatility of crypto currency, but I don't expect this is going to be dead yet.  The dev had an announcement of details to come sometime soon(ish?) and there are quite a few on the richlist with enough volume that I don't see them likely to be the types that end up being a bag holder.  Generally speaking those that make money know what they're doing.

Hi,

I just released an optimized version of sgminer for jackpotcoin for 14.6 amd drivers.

It was tested on my R9-290x at 1050MHz.

The hashrate is 5.97MHash/s
with the standard jackpotcoin miner, the speed was 3.5MHash/s on 13.12 drivers and 4.1MHash.s on 14.6.

So it is an increase between 50% and 100% depending on the drivers you currently use.

This is still lower than nvidia hashrate (however here it is running on all the hashes... so this is at that level still a work in progress

The source can be found here: https://github.com/djm34/sgminer-jpc
windows binaries here: https://mega.co.nz/#!0d9xjagT!H-K3q-XcyHIGEPcPQOKPcW7sdvh8cAaAmHqNRP09zBg

To use the algo: sgminer --kernel jpc -o pool -u password

No idea if it was discussed but on older radeons this version gives lower hashrates

Tell us something more about your rig gpu's, their config, your graphic driver version, then we can discuss. Right now word "older" tells us nothing Smiley

i only get 4.4MHash with my 290x Tri-X at 1100Mhz

Hmm... when you've said "older" i thought about some HD79.. not about 290x Cheesy There's Gotta be sthg wrong, maybe with your config. Can you share it with us?
Cause with no O/C my MSI R9 280X gets like 4,3Mh/s (I-18, tc-8192), so you should get even higher.

What happend with price?
So great coin with fast transaction and lot of features :-/
There's only 8 BTC on buy orders at all exchanges. Most miners keep the coin instead of dumping it and take the advantage of staking it. I even see that the "top" is buying at this low price.

I see 16 BTC buy orders on mintpal and bittrex alone.  What is more important is the lower price gets people to panic sell, so I'm hoping it goes down even more.  The order depth is looking better and better the longer we stay at a lower price.  I hope the price scares more people into selling so they will remove their large sell orders and sell them for cheap.

Up to 300% + 200 FS deposit bonuses
I moved my miners to wafflepool x11.

No longer is mining JPC worth it.

Same difficulty when price was 0.000000045

Makes no sense if you ask me

Why is the bottom falling out? I would have thought we would have found a bottom around 18? Are there any plans for something new to simulate this great coin?

It looks like a couple big wallets on rich list may have been the ones selling so much lately, but there are still quite a few bigger holders of JPC, so I'm guessing it's part of their plan.  It's a risk, but I'm holding regardless.  I like the features, interest, etc and I'm hoping more and more people will recognize the same things.

I wouldn't look at the last couple days of any coin as a true indicator.  For some reason it seems like the holiday in the states chopped a lot of volume from most coins and it hasn't recovered yet.  Volume should recover on Monday or Tuesday and then we will hopefully get back to business as usual.  The only coin I monitor that is doing well happens to be the coin I just sold a bunch of last week...XC.  Figures.

I agree 100% i was going to say something similar here.
Price will come back some..

I'm holding and bought a bit cheap..

Nope.  I jumped around a bit but have been on dwarf for jpc and my other rigs are on coins that may or may not pay off in the end.

i can go grab the all the quotes and market stats to prove what i said and how your full of shit here but sorry i can't be bothered.

your wrong and the proof is sitting there naked and obvious for anyone to see..

you have been a mouthy dick to me on countless previous pages so i think this is just more argumentative asshole crap from you..

and hey smartass
every bloody wallet that has ever existed works the same damn fucking way so explain to me how some guy posting the conf means fuck all ?
that is a stupid and fucking retarded.. your excuses here are weak as fucking hell big time.
first post on every fucking ANN topic they post the port details so your a GULLIBLE idiot or as i always say or a deceitful dick..
pretty much everyone in crypto is one or the other.. nothing new i have said it a million times  Roll Eyes

Mouthy? Haha, check your own post history sir.  You also conveniently skipped the part where I said they posted the conf with rcpallowip=* ....which is how outside ips were able to easily empty a few wallets on unsecured pcs.  This was a fairly large attack, but from what I saw it was mostly in Korea where they run 95% windows OS.  One of the people who stole a bunch openly admitted how he did it one day on jpcdice, but he said he gave it all back.  He claims he's not the one who stole 100m from the other guy, but some people think it was still him and not a 2nd person doing the same thing.

It's funny how you think anyone that has a different opinion than you is somehow inferior.  You have no idea who I am and what I know, so stfu internet tough guy.  There's a reason most of the regular posters on btctalk have you on ignore list and not me.  Try being constructive and helpful without the condescending attitude for once.  Even when you posted an updated cpu miner you had to be all dickish about it and call people names.

I can give you wall of text pointing out how your full of shit but hey why bother ?
your just going to respond with MORE made up little lies and personal attacks.
Do us all a favor and stick to the topic and please stfu already with the critique on my personality.
Nobody cares if you like Spoetnik or not.. so give it a rest ....join the club lol

I can prove what i said easily do have to ? Your the one caring on and on and on..
ONE more personal attack comment out of you i will sit here for the next few hours and piece together the the bullshit you have been pulling.
I have been trying to talk about coins and i never slandered you or accused of anything aside from Trolling on me before which you did.
Just because you don't like someone doesn't give you the right to treat them like crap.
So quit making up garbage to try and cover your tracks.. i never called anyone names about my cpu miner.
This little game for people here reading is not making you look like a super star buddy.. no one wants to hear it so quit putting on a little show.

Uhhhhhhh Jackpot coin Huh??
think we can talk about coins ?
Is that too much to ask ?

So..... this is what the end looks like....

Must have a good bottom to build that next pump and dump launch pad.

What I like about JPC is the novelty of jackpot blocks.  I'm surprised there isn't more buzz and resultant value grab just for that reason alone.  Just a few weeks ago the jackpot winner took home something like $3800.

The coin isn't going anywhere and it still has potential to produce value in a niche gambling market.  It could be undervalued.  Or it could be valued correctly given current  status.  However, the capability of the coin to continue on and provide a valuable service which could also result in a price rebound probably shouldn't be ignored.

Only time will tell.
