I've PMd kosmost to find out more about your coin. It seems that you still have a great community. But what I have a few question maybe someone could help me understand.
1. The coins from cryptsy are destroyed or somebody still have them.
2. The richtest wallet from here - https://chainz.cryptoid.info/karm/#!rich who has it?
3. And if this coin is traded at 1 sat and has a great community why don't they buy it? I'm new and I already have my first karma
4. Why do you 2 threads that are not updated? Not batter make a new thread:) with a new fully redesign and close the other 2
Cheers
Thanks Replied, but some additional comments.
1. If the coins are lost, then it has both good and bad. It is unfortunate that someone lost their coins, but good in that there is now less supply (for our particular case). During the time when Cryptsy had problems there were rumors about its insolvency. People were told not to keep their coins on exchanges. We don't know how many coins were lost, but it's possible that it wasn't a tremendous amount. Mintpal was a bigger exchange for Karma, I think.
2. That is the KarmaToken wallet, a project from EastEagle. The coins were exchanged for KarmaTokens for that project. It is a separate project, but we may find a way to work together in future.
3. People have been buying it Yesterday's volume was 24 BTC on Yobit. Network hash rate has increased 2-3x in the past week. Good things are happening again.
Any good investment requires patience. Coins are speculation, however, so even more patience is needed I would focus more on market cap than price, though. The price of a coin doesn't tell you much. Some new coins start out quite high, such as http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/electra/ which is only a month old and trading at 0.00563001 BTC. You could buy up all the coins for less than 0.5 bitcoin
4. The first thread was started by the original developer, who abandoned the coin in 2014. The coin was picked up by some members of the community (including myself) and we made a new thread.
The coin, however, has been at a low point for the past 1+ year. We are only now thinking about how to put some gas in the coin. The process will not be as fast as I would like but it's not a bad thing. This is not a short-term pump and dump, so there is time to make a 'wise speculative decision'.
