Lill Beta Preview Now Open

wow, look good, really good

Updates are listed here, no more updates than last beta, only more stability and speed. Beta 2 will bring new fresh stuff, and it will be listed on the same thread Smiley

I think it'd be helpful to have a link at the bottom of the page for an actual changelog or something. This way you don't have to read through each post hoping to find something, and you can see exactly what's changed.

Is there any feed or anything for the lill.com updates? I'd like to be able to follow through and see what's happening as the updates come, rather than constantly going back to the site and hoping something changed, :p.

Here's an idea - someone should set up a website that will where people can purchase gifts for children in need around the world - like Save The Children -

http://www.savethechildren.org/site/c.8rKLIXMGIpI4E/b.6115947/k.8D6E/Official_Site.htm

e.g. 1,000,000 Karma buys a soccer ball for a child in Africa

The three posts following yours were in support of this idea, so I would say this already has momentum Smiley

run with it!

Who knows where this momentum might lead us.

It was the idea of charity after all that lead of to the idea of "rewarding" people with Karma, and also rewarding our own community with Karmashares.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! Was just an idea that came to me at about 2am while trying to get to sleep! haha

I don't have the knowledge or expertise to create a website but If someone does know how to get a little website up and running etc. please feel free to go for it - All Id ask is you acknowledge that the idea was mine and credit me for that if it does go live Smiley I have all sorts of interesting/creative ideas and uses for Karma but sadly am not blessed with the skills nor the time to be able to get such things up and running - I'll post more of my ideas from now on! No more POS talk from me  - Kosmost was right, lets focus on positive, innovative projects and uses for our coin, I haven't sold a single Karma coin since March 5 and have no intention on selling so had to do a reality check about why I was even having the argument on POS lol price spikes are of no interest to me now - This community is going to rival and surpass Doge, LTC, and maybe even BTC in time - I'm getting a really good vibe from the last few pages especially, good stuff!

It's is refreshing to see someone going from the negative to the positive. Keep it up, life is happier on that side !

It looks awsome!

When I click "back" on the browser after entering a webpage from the list of results of the search engine, I get this:
Confirm Form Resubmission

I know it is because it is still in beta, but anyways it is good that we (the comunity) point all the bugs and features that we would like to be solved or changed.

I keep hearing about POS, and while I think it may be a good idea there are still other things that can be done that would immediately raise the value of Karma in the exchanges.

One of such things is the most basic one: mining!

I see a lot of people involved in this thread and in the Reddit sub-forums, and I ask myself how many of those are mining something else instead of Karma.
If you really believe in Karma (I do!) then you should be sure that the value will go up a lot in future, and therefore mining will turn out to be VERY profitable.

Also, in short term, the more people are mining the coin, the more difficult it gets for each miner to get the coins (that is who the difficulty algorithm works in Karma).
Therefore miners will not dump the coins for cheap in the exchanges, making the value of Karma raise a lot.

Having a higher net hash rate (right now it is really low) also makes a coin more visible to potential miners.

Join me in:
pool.terahashers.com

No need to register, just do (with cgminer or minerd):
stratum+tcp://pool.terahashers.com:5003 -u -p

My pool has a lot of nice features like VARDIFF (makes the most of your mining hardware), and uses a dedicated server maintained by me (you can send me a PM if you have any problems).
Like I already told, the website is still under construction (works fine under Chrome but not very well with Firefox), but the pool is tested an working perfect (payment processing included!).

An idea for mining may help, too.

I'm assuming you're able to see what hashing power someone brings to your site, and for how long they've been mining?

How about a "Hash for Shares" program whereby we give miners a piece of the pie for providing hashing power?

we could say that for every 7 days you mine you'll get X shares multiplied by your hashrate.

(I could fund this from the 1,084,289 shares that I own)

Any idea how this could work?

I do not see any technical reason why I would not be able to do this.

The question is, would such a pool have a high demand with miners?

Wouldn't most of the people that want shares just mine Karma in a traditional pool and then buy Karmashares by themselves?

Why not get a bonus on top of that? Like 3,000 shares per week for every 1 Mh/s of hashing power? Then if they want to keep their coins, they can. Or exchange then and get a few more thousand shares?

We'll buy a server farm in Sweden, near facebook one !  Grin

So, from what you`ve said, I understood that we should buy Sweden and start integrating this tiny website Facebook into Karmashare.me. Correct?

Here is KARMA for everyone....

Cool, how did you make this?

Please, if possible, until lill.com is back into production env., add something that points the attention to Karmashares or Karma the coin. The logo is not enough.

Do not leave all or large amount of your coins in exchanges.

1. Secure. (We have seen some cases)
2. (Now hold in the wallet) Invest in karmashares.
3. Market moves more easily.

 Wink

FXBT, an exchange in china,  just shut down...
seems like a new one shuts down every month or so...

though it might be nice to have Karma on BTER, the future of Chinese exchanges (or any exchanges for that matter) is in doubt.

If you are going to use exchanges as a quasi banks then at least spread the coins out across multiple exchanges so you don't lose them all if one goes down.

I'm just posting this as reminder to keep the message in the back of peoples minds.

If I have a substantial position in any coin I usually don't keep more than 30% on any given exchange.
