And what one thing really makes you think he's telling the truth?
Send a few coins here and there.....make people think i'm trying.
I've had three different coin (Btc,Karma,Syscoin) requests on that site ever since it came up.
Nothing yet.
Guarantee he's buying time to plot a way out.

i have faith. I dont see them really stealing alt coins so i think in the end we will get most of our coins back. On a serious note, only few people pressuring them with constant tweets...... Even if you do not have any coins in there tweet to support you Karma brothers

in any case... the collapse of Mintpal would have made it very hard for the LLC to keep operating since any business model based on Karma requires good liquidity in the market.

One can allways use cyptsy Wink

Even if kosmost held on longer to the LLC/POC this would have killed it , no?

yes, no, maybe!?!.. kosmost claimed he sought the appropriate legal advice.
if he actually did get the appropriate legal advice then any sec inquiry wouldn't have been an issue.

since he shut down the LLC and gave the coins back before any of this could be tested we will probably never know.

To follow up on that attorney action (urgent injunction) I posted earlier today, it's my understand now that Syscoin has initiated it (please don't quote me - do your own research):

http://syscoin.org/syscoin-granted-injunction-against-moolahryan-kennedy-by-high-court-papers-served/

I am not an expert in UK law by any means but to me it seems a little odd that this case would go to the high court without first going to a lower court. also if the court grants an injunction then there's should be a publicly available document somewhere that people can view.
it also seems a little odd how this would happen so quickly given the nature of how slow courts are.

so I would be sceptical about these claims without first seeing actual documentation.

as I said.. I am no expert on the UK court system.. I just find it a little strange. I have seen a lot of multimillion dollar bitcoin scams with the authorities and victims doing very little to chase down the scammers.

if this is a case where one set of victims have taken firm and decisive action then I am all for it but this could also mean that our coins get tied up in the UK court system for a long long time and they will end up getting paid out first while everyone else who is not part of the legal action gets to wait for the leftovers.

best scenario is that they fix the funds and let people withdraw their coins.

Therefore please keep tweeting all day.

The 1st four paragraphs are relevant to the current situation with Mintpal and Karma coin (not to suggest the rest of the post is not worth reading).

Good Karmic Dust and Blessings to everyone.

So what do we need to do as a community to move forward? Although I lost 12.6mil on mintpal I am confident we can move past this. We have endured several sinkholes in the road as of late. There are shitty people in this world. All the more reason for good Karma to prevail. I am going to keep mining Karma and hopefully doing good things with it. I propose we rally behind a cause and all donate.

welcome, and thanks for the post.
having a donation drive is a good idea but the problem we have is lack of liquidity in the market due to the collapse of mintpal.

if we all donated coins now then the person collecting would have to dump them onto cryptsy so that they could transfer into BTC or fiat to give to the charity.
because cryptsy has low volume this would cause the price to drop significantly or it would make the transfer process extremely long and tedious.

so really we do need to wait for a liquid market to develop before we can move forward with any kind of significant donation drive.

kinda sucks but that's where we are now.

Just a small, humble plug for the https://doabitofgood.com/bit4bit matching funds -- we accept Karma directly and can do campaign matching in Karma directly without having to do the exchange -- otherwise, as you've noted, you're really only just shuffling deck chairs around if you send someone coins only to have them dump them all onto an exchange at one time.
