I would have posted this sooner but I was banned from the forums for 3 days for posting one friendly invite on the givecoin thread for people to come and join the Karma community.
everyone please be advised that you cannot go onto other coin threads and "advertise" your coin in any way.

of anyone comes to the Karma thread to talk down Karma and talk up their own coin you can report it to the moderators and it will get them banned from using this site for 3 days. Wink

The funny thing is I too got "moderated" just for giving you a +1 on that post so I can tell you it wasn't me...

As far as I am concerned you are more than welcome to have RESPECTFUL discourse with people -- and that can absolutely include contrary opinions to the masses.

I'm not afraid to say (or hear) that the emperor has no clothes.

I can't withdraw my KARM form Minpal  Angry
I filled a request for the withdraw on Monday but nothing it it happen:
Withdrawal Status
Requested

Anyone with the same problem here ?

Not anyone but everyone. Say bye-bye to your KARM. Those coins are lost. I lost 150 million KARM on Mintpal.

I agree and I havent seen anyone say that they got any coins out of mintpal either...

one thing worth noting however, is that if nobody got their coins out and the site says that the daemon was not working then that means the coins should still be still there.
if enough people lodge tickets with moolah or mintpal when it comes back online then we might have a chance at getting them to fix the coin daemon and then allow us to get our coins out.

I agree the chances are very slim.. but its still worth a try.

I will take SLIM anytime than none. Wink

Yeah, they have their own problems over at duck's coin. LOL.
For someone that had it "all together" it sure isn't.
Thanks for the heads up on mintpa/moolah.....and welcome back.

it looks like mintpal are now going after Ryan.

https://twitter.com/MintPalExchange

Update:
after submitting my complaint to moolah I was able to get some of my coins out...
however my BTC, DRK, MZC and KARM are all still stuck at mintpal.

I would like to recommend that everybody make a copy of the mintpal withdraw page that shows your balances and any withdrawal transactions.

you might be able to use this as evidence later to claim your coins.

it looks like things have gotten very messy so don't expect your coins back any time soon.

from what I can gather there may have been a large number of BTC and possibly DRK stolen from mintpal.

i doubt that Karm were stolen during this incident so there is still a slim chance you could get your Karm back if the people who control the mintpal twitter account can get control of the servers too.

Does anyone have an idea how much Karma was in Mintpal? Hot wallets or cold.
I'm one of the lucky ones since had about 1 million there, I'll be surprised if its come home.
I've been accumulating since April and most were in my wallet.
Good luck to everyone, maybe, just maybe the former mintpal owners can regain some control and see whats
left behind.
I think a moderately safe guess would be this wallet is Mintpal: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/karm/wallet.dws?32536.htm
In my past experience this (experimental) Chainz feature was able to roughly predict the amount of Unobtanium stored on Cryptsy. Turned out to be even more than the projection (>50k coins instead of ~45k), so maybe in reality it's 13-14 instead of 11.5 billion.

I was lucky too, I only had 0.00000023 KARM left on Mintpal. Actually that was everythin I had left there. Maybe I got lucky, or maybe I just learned to read the signs. I've been burnt on Coinex and Cryptorush before and am now relatively strict in keeping most of my coins off-exchange.

Keeping coins out of ANY exchange is the best practice.

In view of what is happening in MINTPAL I think we have to make a public statement like this:

An open message to MINTPAL.

As a community KARMA have always supported your crypto coin exchange platform.
In fact KARMA and MINTPAL histories are closely linked together, being one of the first cryptocoin available at mintpal.com's launch.

The recent events that led to your present situation is really sad and no one wanted this to happen except the perpetrator that goes by many names among them "ALEX GREEN".

Being the main trusted exchange site for KARMA, many community members have KARMA coins deposited in your exchange.

We trusted your exchange for the responsibility you showed in handling security issues that many other cryptocoins suffered in the past.
We trusted your exchange for the responsive way you handle customer issues.
We trusted your exchange for the developments you are continually do with your service and platform.

Then major problems happened.

As your clients, we trust you.

Whatever decisions you make in attempts to improve your situation is entirely up to you. Whether on financial, managerial, security matters or otherwise.

As clients we have absolutely no say on those decisions.

Therefore if any of those decisions lead to the loss of KARMA coins entrusted to you. You are responsible to recover them for your clients. No arguments or alibi.

Your exchange have shown that it was buggy from the day of Mintpal v2 relaunch, before any Moolah issues surfaced. No one can successfully withdraw any KARMA.
It means that you have a broken KARMA system, though it is a negative fact in an exchange's point of view, in this situation, a broken, non functioning KARMA system(daemon, wallet, etc.) is a good thing.

IT MEANT THAT SOMEONE WHO MAY HAVE WANTED TO ROB KARMA COINS BY TRANSFERRING THEM TO HIS WALLET WILL NOT BE SUCCESSFUL. This is a very welcome thought.

With this, as a community who supported mintpal all these times past, we would like to request your company, the people who tried to sell Mintpal to "ALEX GREEN", the very same persons that are recorded in the history of WHOIS(http://domainreport.domaintools.com/mintpal.com) and UK business registry BEFORE "MOOLAH TAKE OVER" to be responsible in the recovery of the KARMA funds that are still in MINTPAL servers and databases, from the person/people they decided to pass this exchange and return the same to their rightful owners.

You above all people, are responsible to what happened and future happenings on MINTPAL funds.

We hope for your immediate resolution of this matter.

After 7 calendar days without resolution, we will be constrained to pass this matter into the hands of the concerned authorities.

Therefore, we all hope for the expedient resolution of this matter on or before October 27, 2014.

12.6 Million Karma...  POOF  Dang Mintpal. I had just bought them and then was out on vacation for a couple weeks! I'm still mining though and want to contribute and support however I can. Can't be mad. Time to donate to a cause. I will put up 1 Million to whatever. Any suggestions?
I am in the same exact boat. I'll throw a million into the pot if anyone can figure this out.
