yes, and these groups are slowly forming. But a active dev is always a strong sight. And we seem to have one. they are just busy with their website. Lets see what tomorrow brings.

Waiting for the dev to do everything is why I have sold left several other coins. No 1 person can do it all. If they do their job, and make sure the coins are being mined correctly, and the wallets work, and so on, then really thats all they should have to do. To make them responsible for that, and websites, and guidance is just building up to failure.

A valid currency has groups that move and produce products and technology without referring back to the dev for every move. Big banks make decisions on USD and Euros without waiting for the mint of the respective country. Bitcoin companies go up all the time without consulting with Satoshi.

Karma seems like a cool idea. But any currency is more then 1 guy's project.

Who Are We?
CharityMiningPools was created to allow miners the ability to mine coins while still knowing that their hashing power is going towards something good.  Our goal is to provide a positive and reliable service while delivering a small portion of the proceeds to a deserving recipient.  Plans are in the works to allow individual miners to choose where they would like to donate to based on a pool of available recipients.

How Does This Work?

Thanks. You'll still get paid for what you've done already. But yeah, there's soo much hash elsewhere on the network it makes it tougher on the smaller pools. We tend to be less lucky, but you end up with bigger payouts.

Hi- I just posted an update- site is going live tomorrow.  One of the coolest features is the KarmaWall where people can share their stories, links, videos and posts.  They can also put in a wallet address if they want people to donate to that cause.  The site will show the total donations for each of the posts.    It has the simplicity of a Facebook community wall so it is easy to add content for anyone.
