GoMeat - Digitalizing Meat Stores - ICO
BarterDEX is surely awesome. Looking for a cool way to implement exchanges and dICO. Just anticipating the Monaize ICO probably few weeks from now. A good 2018 opening salvo is a good way to launch it.

@Community: Is there a Komodo block explorer that shows all tokens which are associated with a specific address? And is it possible to derive more than one Komodo address from a seed?

@JL777: I read some pages back to look for a hint. Have you already migrated the tokens? I'm still waiting for JL777 and SuperNet tokens to be arrived in my Agama wallet. I did the migration step weeks ago.

Thanks!

Hi, can someone help me with my issue? I had around 670 KMD in wallet and  I sent this morning 335 KMD to bittrex account and they didnt came. Also possible to see that there are no confirmations for my transaction.
Later i claimed my earned kmd for other 335 kmd. They withdrawn from balnace and came back in one minute, but first half is still not confirmed. What to do? I tried to check my tx id on explorer but it shows nothing like tx is not existing. TX id: e05398425a3d42d523c5ef2c1e1468eddaf6b6278b513a896a48422358b8a2ae
e05398425a3d42d523c5ef2c1e1468eddaf6b6278b513a896a48422358b8a2ae does not appear to exist, likely it got orphaned.

if the wallet still thinks the tx is valid, you might try launching komodod with -zapwallettx or -rescan

Right now, we know barterdex gui is being outsourced by another dev. Is komodo lacking resources to hire full time quality developers ?
It would be nice of you to reassure your investors about the public release of your product whether it is ready soon or not, just my opinion
full time quality developers
The BarterDEX code is more or less complete, almost in maintenance mode for jl777 (correct me if I’m wrong). The code itself is solid and stable. There are multiple developers working on various GUI solutions, most notably @buildog and @grewalsatinder.

https://imgur.com/gallery/f1slj

Here is a recent screen grab from @grewalsatinder’s BarterDEX GUI, posted on Twitter and Slack. Believe me, they are all working day and night to perfect this.

Here is the GitHub link for @grewalsatinder’s BarterDEX GUI, debugging and releasing new versions of the dApp weekly: https://github.com/SuperNETorg/BarterDEX/releases

I understand the idea that the information should be more available, in a consolidated place, and easy to understand - as does the Komodo team, and they are working hard to accomplish these things. Reminder: this is at heart an open-sourced, community-driven project. It seems like many of your concerns would be addressed if you were active on Slack. Have you joined? The team has been refining the information available to the public with detailed and simple explanations via new whitepapers and blog posts. On Slack, it may seem like a hassle to you, but that’s where all the raw information is - it sounds like what you are looking for. Otherwise you will just get the socia media-approved news. When you can join the #tradebots channel and see pages and pages of multiple people, developers and end-users testing and troubleshooting the latest GUI release, making atomic swaps in real time... to me, THAT is exciting!

The fact is: this project is MASSIVE and well developed. It is ambitious, but not in the “6 year road map to a working product” way. The product is here. Now. Being tested by their hands, mine, and possibly yours if you choose. There are levels of involvement... for some it’s flipping profits daily, for some it’s a serious long-term investment, and for some it’s an opportunity to be on the ground floor of something BIG.

Edit: forgot to mention... for those complaining about the Agama wallet. Personally the app works flawlessly for me on Windows. But consider this: they are building the multiwallet from scratch, based on code that jl777 created from scratch (Iguana core). Important detail I don’t see mentioned often.

Based on Elliot waves, Komodo must surge up to 20x by November 2018. It`s Dash, Monero, Zcash time now, but soon market whales will take much closer look on Komodo, which has the same features, but much cheaper price.

Things to consider:

A few months back Litecoin did their first Atomic Swap (one) with Bitcoin in a controlled environment and the crypto world made a really big deal about it. Komodo has done over 14,000 Atomic Swaps (perhaps 15000 before the day is over today); they are miles ahead of everyone else.

The dICO is very close to launch

Agama wallet is about to come out of Beta

The website is going to be updated and relaunched.

Komodo has done almost no marketing……yet.

I have noticed the amount of people joining Telegram is starting to accelerate, so it’s starting to get noticed, but is still way under the radar.

We’ll see how much longer Komodo stays under the radar.

There's really nothing wrong with this project, but I think James shouldn't be so hands off when it comes to the GUI. Not a diss, but I think it would benefit general KMD sentiment if James' position on GUIs (and documentation) was more "Ok, let's figure this out" rather than "I don't do GUIs, that's not my problem." The sooner the GUIs and UX is up to par with the actual core tech, is when faith is at it's maximum potential for the project. I understand it takes away James' attention from the actual core code, and I also know you essentially put bounties out for GUIs, but there should be a fully paid GUI Lead salary, and that persons job is the manager for support, project management, etc. and they can hire below them to carry out the work. This project and Supernet are big enough to easily absorb the costs to hire the right people to get this stuff done.
We have fulltime people doing GUI and many other things.
I am a C programmer and have no talent for GUI, I would just get in the way.
We are documenting, have you read the updated whitepapers?

Have you seen the screen shot of the latest GUI? not a mockup, but an actually working GUI it is

No GUI team has ever kept up with my output. I usually keep a dozen other coders busy, so it is nothing against the GUI devs that it is taking a bit of time.

Latest Agama in testing has a way to collect ledger interest, in addition to SPV support. These are things I had nothing to do with.

anyway, we will announce when we have reached a state where it is ready to be announced, ie. pretty much done.

If you assume that because we dont make press releases over the selection of a specific color in the GUI that the GUI is not important to us, you assume wrong.

If you assume that silence means we are not doing anything, you assume wrong.

You are all free to speculate on what we have cooking. Just done expect us to leak the info

Just a few messages up there's another person with an issue- And he has no idea what to do. That is my point. I understand much of this is experimental and early but there's been many wallet issues since KMD has existed.

Ok I give you some idea what to do if you dont know what to do - yo ucan for example relax.

Why does everyone on this thread get defensive with slight criticisms? I guess this is the last time I share my thoughts on what can help make KMD/Supernet succeed. I just wanted to give my 2 cents, and I don't think my point is too far fetched.  I did not intend to take James away from more important things through pointless banter.

Looks like you need to export the WIF from the original/previous account and apply in the screen you see.

Alright, any ideas on how to do that from within Agama native mode ?

Check settings or some other menu. Should be there somewhere as it's key info.

I do not like the developers being here giving explanations to dubious or distrustful investors.

I prefer that they are in their habitat: the development of a currency that is going to be the future and the solution of many problems and shortcomings of cryptography.

Let people work. If you do not like the project, continue with BTC.

I want to reiterate I do believe in the project long term, and 4 years of comitment is enough as a proof speaking for itself, if people cant see it their loss, kmd will rise and shine, but dont expect it to happen on the short term it wont...just test the product yourself it is available in beta Smiley

I don't think you would know a great investment if it bit you in the ass.
Short term ( why do you even care?? ) KMD is actually trading at its ATH in terms of fiat.
Long term as distributed exchange becomes the predominant mode for moving funds in crypto, we will be the center of the trading hub with BarterDEX.

If you put as much "research" into atomic swap as claimed you did reading about our lead dev, then you would not be so ignorant to actually tell people not to invest in this project.   Really dude, what is your motive in the first place, did you bother to actually ask James about any of the shit you regurgitated?  How, exactly, does not knowing one developer's identity harm the investors?   Do you not value your privacy?

Calling jl777 untrustworthy is pretty low.  This morning I witnessed him save a few tens of thousands of dollars of another fellow KMD investor that were at risk of being traded away due to a typing error.  Benji75  I'm sorry but you just don't know the first thing about trust.

first dont say what I didn't. I never called JL777 himself untrustworthy, I said there is a lack of trust between investors and KMD in general, they hide their ID and dont communicate clearly their roadmap, not asking about specific dates but I dont know what is going on at all , how many people are working on each project, their structuration and the workforce allocated for each of their project, none of that is clear, it is a mess.
In the real world, top tier companies have full transparency report about it.
Again stop with your shitty comparison in terms of fiat, if btc crash you crash, if btc goes up you also crash, kmd has to get a better return in btc over time or it is just not worthy to put a dime on it
Right now the btc/kmd trend is downward, This project huge but what will make the diff is how they present themselves to the world.
Any logical mind would not invest in a project where people conceal their ID and do not disclose date ahead, not worth the time and the hassle since you are better off going o casino and gamble.
Now for the people willing to dig go into their slack ask question to fully understand the scope of this project is like 1 people out of 1000000 going this far, most of us are reading their website and their social media channel of communication , and it is in pretty bad shape compared to some other projects.
I am glad that you are heavily holding bags in kmd but try to have unbiaised and critical view about the project.

Put yourself to the shoes of a new potential investor, why should he sent a cent to kmd, he doesnt know who is their team, he doesnt know when things will happen, when their products will be released, what are their plans for the future and so on, but hey throwing at them a few nice marketing words like atomic swap, zero conf and so on wont do you any good. 90% have no clue what it is, so better explain it in english in a one page (not 30 technical pages that 99% dont give a shit about, no offense here) .

Dont hate me for making a critic, I am just saying out loud what alot of people are thinking.
any serious investor who isnt willing to read more than a page for his "research" isnt really a serious investor. Who is really putting in more than small amounts based on reading a tweet and a one page summary?

I cannot help if those who dont want to spend time to learn the details dont know the details and then later complain that we didnt tell them.

We are explaining in clear language all the cool tech we have developed, it will take time to catch up to everything we have, but this process is started.

If you dont know what is going on at all, but want to know, all it takes is to join slack and follow the realtime progress.

I agree and dont at the same time, not all investors have the ability to understand a technical wp, you dont talk the same way to an average person than an IT person right ? a noob friendly version can be a good alternative and frankly there should be different versions.
It's good to hear that you are starting to create documentation about komodo.
Why should I have to go on a channel communication to ask questions about roadmap, projects you are working on, estimated date release of your products, workforce allocated to projects and so on ? It should be clearly visible on your website and updated : in all honesty it is clearly not.
Right now, we know barterdex gui is being outsourced by another dev. Is komodo lacking resources to hire full time quality developers ?
