There is any marketing update? I think that's the weak side of Komodo and Super Net, people cant easily figure out the whole stuff. Also the SEO side should be improved since the names recall Animals.. (try to search "Iguana Wallet" on google :p)

Yes, we recently hired more full time marketing people. Now we are busy doing all kind of groundwork.

We also had an update: https://supernet.org/en/resources/updates/marketing-update-big-plans-big-announcements

Does Ballista mode earn interest?

Reading here I see windows wallet has some glitches.
That explains why it won't stay synced and loosing connection.

The coins are in blockchain, and they always earn interest. The wallet is just a way to monitor/send the coins, but on the blockchain level nothing changes. So it doesn't matter whatever you use the Iguana in Full mode or Basilisk mode. Technically you coins are not in your wallet - they are in the blockchain.

Thank you for the small pump made. But I think that at least 20K should be handled. My puppies grew as I was seeing purchases. Grin Grin

my nerves are down. Waited patiently till yesterday due to exchanges problems. Now i wanna send my KMD to cryptox and again an error message:

"Couldn´t create rawtx"

@jl777: if there is a solution to transfer my KMD manually to cryptox please PM, i will have the possibility to sell them. I participated on the ICO first day, so its just fair i have the chance to sell now after 3 days on exchanges.

Thanks to grzem of cryptox.pl who found this bug yesterday! Definitely not an easy one to find and troubleshoot.

This bug is a komodod local wallet bug and only affects transactions with multiple inputs with interest accrued. for most people this wouldnt be that big of a deal, but if unlucky a large accrued interest could have been lost. Luckily it was found early so there hasnt been a chance for large percentage accruals yet.

We are validating the fix in the dev branch, will post when it propagates to the other branches. If you dont mind occasionally donating to the miners, then there is no need to update. But if you want to get every komodoshi of accrued interest and are running komodod (native) in unix, then best to wait for this update.

I believe that the iguana full node and basilisk were immune to this bug, but this needs some careful verification.

Great update, if we have some bugs before the more release comes, that could be awesome, let us try the software more often to find bugs, is there any bug bounty to drive people find more bugs? Thanks!

The balance for my KMD address in Iguana is still not the same as my balance on kpx.io block explorer.   They are off by about 4000 KMD, so not sure what is up with that.

lustro says kpx.io now has all the tx in its database, he also added price and marketcap.

if you made a transaction and it appears in the komodod or iguana explorer, but not on kpx.io, please post

Are the liquidity nodes and atomic transactions working yet now that komodo has exchanges?
That is the first thing I will work on after all the basics are stabilized.

The real world usage of KMD could not be replicated during testnet phase. Also, we now have a lot more eyes on the details! Between users, exchanges, pools, it exposed a few rough spots. First priority is to make all these areas solid.

the status of atomic swaps is the low level statemachine has been working for quite a while. The liquidity node basic functions work, but I want to expand the functionality to make it more useful. Also I need to add detailed stats (pending and historical) and utilize those stats to ensure all pending swaps are completed, even after a disconnect.

So there are definitely some things I need to finish in this area, but in parallel the GUI will be completed, so I hope to get the command line level LP node code into beta test by end of the month. However, I am still dealing with payouts, bug fixes and support issues and not able to code the DEX/LP at all until people will let me not do payouts or bug fixes for several days at a time.

So, likely next week before this happens.

I transferred my ICO Komodo to Cryptopia a couple of days ago. I was told that transfers happen manually each Monday. But mine have not shown up.

I can see things are quite busy here, but what should I do?

1. Wait and hope they show up?
2. Let someone know?

Check  your withdrawal address on kpx.io and also the status of your withdrawal on your ico dashboard, it will say either pending or complete  Wink apparently there was also some recent issues with the exchanges though.

Can someone tell me how to swap BTCD into komodo coin? And Is there iguana for windows 10?  Someone else has said if it gets crash.

You need to register on ICO website and send BTCD to your address: ico.komodoplatform.com

Wallets are here: https://supernet.org/en/products/iguana
It might crash, might not, still beta )

To swap BTCD to Komodo first get an account in http://ico.komodoplatform.com and PLEASE save the wallet seed in safe place. A new komodo wallet address will be generated . Under the menu swap you can see there is an address where you can send your BTCD. Wait till confirmation then request for a payout .

Did you choose to pay out to an existing address (cryptopia)?
Checked jl777 payout-posts if your address is included?

how about being kind and walk him through this convoluted process instead of the go find it attitude. not everyone is as smart as you.

Noobie question, komodo looks more ambitious and advanced than most other alt coins, is there a foundation running things like there is with ethereum? What governance procedures are in place?

afaik komodo does not have any foundation, jl777 is in charge of the tech, and notary nodes were recently elected. Governance and consensus are decentralized based on voting by coin holders.

Thank you for reply, how often will elections happen, what requirements to be a future candidate?

Rules for future node elections have not been released by dev team afaik. Best for the devs to work on the software and network stability now, let things settle down after the launch, then I'm sure details for future elections will be made public.

One thing for certain though, many more candidates will run next time, notary nodes are in the words of j777 'money printing machines' at a price just higher than where we are today Smiley

i see my revs on the block explorer.  what do i do with them? is there a wallet i need to run ? how do i move them or import the associated private key?
you can run the komodod -ac_name=REVS -ac_supply=1300000 to run the REVS chain

iguana wallet will be supporting REVS, but not sure of timeframe, shouldnt be that long

it uses the same privkey as BTCD if it was from local wallet snapshot and the same privkey as the KMD payout address if from the ICO payout. currently only commandline iguana supports converting passphrase to importprivkey compatible wif string

but the GUI will soon support that

Perfect!

Say I am running komodo now on that same server. Would I need to set a different data directory?  What about the port for communicating the komodo-cli with the right komodod running the REVS chain?

Thanks!
each assetchain is its own chain and gets its own deterministically determined port

the REVS dir will be created in ~/.komodo/REVS

from ~/komodo/src you can issue equivalent to komodo-cli calls using the fiat/revs script

I know revs isnt fiat, but that is where all the pax chain scripts were and it was easiest to put revs in there

Grazi.

That clears up any issues that I have.

Thanks again!
