I think there will be a little less money in ico . ( 2385.44 BTC ) They could not reach 10% more.

I think 2388 btc is not bad. It is actually very high and is leading compared to all other current ICOs out there. It's just that developers are engraving a super high market cap.

Hope you guys did not copy/fork too much from zcash !
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/zcash-bug-prevents-private-transactions-soon-after-launch/

did u actually try it on testnet ?!
this issue has to do with spending coinbase outputs and requiring exact amounts to be used  in this special case.

with komodo we mine to transparent addresses so this issue is avoided

as usual, every little issue with zcash is turned into the end of the world. Since vast majority of people will never mine zcash block and the pools will be getting the vast majority of blocks, it seems just a minor inconvenience for zcash.

KMD is not affected by spending of protected mining outputs (coinbase) since KMD coinbase are not in protected mode

Hey! You know, I don't think that presentation has been uploaded yet. There is video, but the audio was not recorded from the microphone. That was during the first Anarchapulco.

So I can try and I would actually love to have it. But not sure it is still around and I don't think it ever made it online.

What you are thinking about is my DASH presentation on Anarchapulco 2016 which was the second one,

That one is on my youtube channel here. Smiley

Hey everyone.

I'm Juan S. Galt and I want to run to be a Komodo Notary host.

Hey Juan!

Do you have a link to your SuperNET presentation at Anarchapulco?

I understood someone uploaded them all into some youtube-like bitcoin service.

Would be nice to see it.  Cheesy

Nice GUI, but why there is zcash wallet?   Huh Huh Roll Eyes

SuperNET is all about helping the entire crypto space. We don't want to create an isolated platform - but instead connect to the existing infrastructure as much as possible. We want to integrate as many other coins as possible, so that they can use our multiwallet and our decentralized exchange. By welcoming others to use our tech we will increase our user-base and liquidity. All SuperNET services and Komodo as its infrastrucutre coin will benefit.

Adding Zcash doesn't require any more effort from our side, as Komodo is its fork. First and foremost this is our way to give back something to the Zcash devs who created this amazing technology. Of course we too will benefit if the Zcash users would prefer to use our GUI.

When we can send the BTCD? It's not clear.

After the ICO and the BTCD snapshot. We haven't announced yet when exactly that snapshot will happen, but it will be a specific block.

It all should happen within two weeks after the ICO, so that everyone gets their KMD coins at the same time.

So the snapshot will take place after the ICO has ended? Within two weeks? So what happens if someone buys BTCD afterwards? He can't swap them?

There are two things that should be kept separate:
 1) BTCD snapshot for the REV asset
 2) BTCD swap for KMD coin

There is a specific BTCD block when we take the snapshot, and at some later date you can claim the REV share asset with your BTCD privatekey.

The actual KMD swap will begin after that snapshot and it will continue for 1 full year. Anyone who buys BTCD can of course swap them for KMD at anytime.

Those who want to get the REV asset should keep their BTCD in a local wallet, and export its privatekey for later use. Then just wait until the snapshot is done and you can move your BTCD anywhere, for example back to an exchange or swap for KMD.

I need to store my btcd on wallet or on poloniex is also valid?
Just wallet BTCD!! Smiley

Hey everyone.

I'm Juan S. Galt and I want to run to be a Komodo Notary host. Here's why I think my team  and I can do a great job at this.

As a crypto currency journalist and researcher, I am early adopter of Supernet and Bitcoindark's tokens and ambitions. I immersed my self in the vision of Supernet and its  plan of action and explained it to thousands of people through a series of articles and a video interview on the matter.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/supernets-decentralized-exchange-aims-to-put-an-end-to-bitcoin-bank-heists

https://cointelegraph.com/news/fibrecoin-leaves-blocknet-joins-supernet

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JT7P9P7kig

I also represented Supernet during the first in Anarchapulco 2016.

Long story short I have a good grasp of Supernet's big picture plan and have been and remain a strong advocate of it's goals. Most important of all in my mind, a decentralized, anonymous and professional crypto currency exchange.

Komodo being the infrastructure ontop of which much if Supernet's vision will be built, means that I am very interested in supporting it.

I believe I can be an active and engaged ambassador to Komodo and Supernet.

I also have a team of two very experienced engineers, one taking care of hosting, securing the hardware and online up time,  and the other putting together the server and maintaining the software, security and updates.

Here are their credentials among other specs:

Ryan Herbison - Network Technician/System Administrator

- Owned computer store from 2000-2006 familiar with x86 Hardware

- System Administrator for ISP in Northern British Columbia for the last ten years 2006-2016.

- Maintained dozen linux servers including mail, mysql, websites, accounting systems, management systems, network monitoring, nagios etc.

- Managed Fiber network, Microwave Radio Systems, ADSL Hardware, and Dialup Service.

- Basic programming skills can troubleshoot most problems

- Familiarity with most network protocols, bind, ospf, bgp etc

- Escaped the long winters and now lives in Acapulco, Mexico where he continues to build ISP infrastructure

Travis Boyd - Hardware and Software Guy

- Owns and operates Wireless ISP in Oregon

- Starting ISP Venture in Chile

- Maintains linux servers, network adminstrator.

- Builds wireless communication links

- Maintains business and residential customer infrastructure

- In operation for the past 10 years.

Is there a blog bounty for Komodo?
I don't see any mention of it on the first page.  Was just asking for maybe I can write article for it on steemit and maybe publish another to my blog as well. Let me help spread the word Smiley

There isn't but let me know how much you are looking for and i might personally fund it. Also give me a link to your previous work.

How 30,000 btc rise so far ?

Checking the thread 10-20 times a day, quite frustrated to see you guys doing nothing with the feeding. Just change the cap to 4k, or 3 if you want. Get that shut. Would love to see 10k raised, but lets be more realistic, every 2-3 hours some account comes up with "why you want 30,000 BTC" question. Do 3k, see how soon it'll fill up.

I dont care about it. Ignore limit 30 000 btc. Even its not realistic or realistic I prefer official limit. What happen if someone send 100 000 btc to ICo and tell "I take all  coins and scratch for you"
Ignore limit. Better limit than no limit. Dont matter realistic or not.

hello developper ,komodo when launching?

The ICO ends on November 20th. Our schedule is to launch mainnet ~2 weeks after the ICO.

Currently we are ahead of schedule, and jl777 is implementing some bonus features such as PAX.

The GUI teams are working hard to release a wallet with transparent transactions, so that it's easy to send/receive KMD.

...

Speaking about GUI team... we have a pleasure to announce Boogieman has started blogging!

You can read his first blog from Steemit and get an inside look into the difficulties the team has had during the past 4-5 months. Now the biggest obstacles have been solved.

Here's a quote from his post:
Quote
Though the app will have some functions for advanced users like developers, our primary target audience are grandmas, that’s why we give much attention to UX and UI part of the project and already getting compliments for it from the community and colleagues. Later on I would tell how we work and search for a better UX solution.

Those are good news for all the grandmas out there!  Kiss

EDIT: also check out the Iguana GUI commits
