with that you can't log in to your account/wallet etc.
Internally we are finishing up / testing the accounts and rewards related features, and hope to have a full release in the next couple of months. The wallet will be a custodial solution where LBRY helps users manage their keys. Initially these wallets will be separate from any local Desktop/Android app ones, but the plan is to enable a way for users to sync all their wallets across devices, including lbry.tv.

It's coming up in a few months. Grin

Also, the latest development update for June and July is out: https://lbry.com/news/jun-july-dev.

Preview images are loaded lazily or not at all after the upgrade. The volume slider is missing. What do you think you're doing?
And, please, take away that vortex greeting window!

About the volume slider, the developer's team are preparing for a new video player application in the next release, they tried to apply in the last version but could not get it to work and postponed it for the next version. The vortex preload image also being issued on the Github, in the next version, there should be an option to disable it.

New LBRY interface looks cool, and I like dark theme.
It opens and runs smoothly so far, but I need to test it more.

Our latest Development report was just released! It's available for your reading pleasure here: https://lbry.com/news/jun-july-dev

We go over all the awesome new features in the latest app release, details about what had to happen on the SDK side to make this possible, as well as updates for Android, LBRY.tv, YouTube Sync, LBRYcrd, and our Roadmap.

We apologize for the long delay between updates, but the team was hard as work on the latest app and SDK releases and we really wanted to get those out before talking about them in more detail. For future reports, the goal is to make them regular, a bit more simplified, and not centered around release schedules.

LBC it still has a lot of potential for growth and can maintain a sustainable ecosystem. I remember that 3 years ago LBC reached the value of $1.60, since then has fallen more than 90% and is still among the 500 highest capitalization in coingecko, this shows the interest in the platform. Since there are more than 5000 coins and tokens listed on the site...

Honestly, we can not compare and count on those numbers at the market capitalization websites since they list most of the altcoins that existing on the exchanges, and we can't know for sure how the project behave. I mean shit ton useless cryptocurrencies are being listed on their websites too, So judging an LBRY interest by those number are not quite good.

Personally, I have no doubt about LBRY interest as the time goes by, and when the project becomes more mature, not to mention, more YouTubers are become aware and fed up with YT strict policies and censorship. A decentralized content marketplace like LBRY would be a heaven for them.

They need good exposure so those youtubers will come to know the great benefits of this platform to optimize their works.
This would be great also for those that really put effort in creating their content and not just the typical no-effort fake contents.
Adoption is one major bottleneck of most projects. You may have the overwhelming features but the number of users are not that many.

This might be the dumbest question but, how do I restore an old wallet from a previous version? I have the default_wallet, and I tried putting it in the roaming folder of the new version but it didn't work. Can anybody please tell me what I am missing? Thanks!  Smiley

You might put it on the wrong directories. Try to look at this page for further information about migrating your wallet to the new version: https://lbry.com/faq/backup-data, https://lbry.com/faq/lbry-directories.

Also, Make you sure you always backup your wallet, just to be safe in case something unexpected happens.
