LBC it still has a lot of potential for growth and can maintain a sustainable ecosystem. I remember that 3 years ago LBC reached the value of $1.60, since then has fallen more than 90% and is still among the 500 highest capitalization in coingecko, this shows the interest in the platform. Since there are more than 5000 coins and tokens listed on the site...

Honestly, we can not compare and count on those numbers at the market capitalization websites since they list most of the altcoins that existing on the exchanges, and we can't know for sure how the project behave. I mean shit ton useless cryptocurrencies are being listed on their websites too, So judging an LBRY interest by those number are not quite good.

Personally, I have no doubt about LBRY interest as the time goes by, and when the project becomes more mature, not to mention, more YouTubers are become aware and fed up with YT strict policies and censorship. A decentralized content marketplace like LBRY would be a heaven for them.

And By The Way Can I Take Over A Channel Domain In LBRY Network?

Regarding some of the other questions:
Ability to stream without downloading will be coming over the next couple of months

The Beta Web Link to check out is: https://beta.lbry.tv
Is It Only Avaible On Desktop Site?
And I Don't Think Forcing Mobile User To Become "Seeder" Is Good.
Smartphone Has Small Storage Capacity, And Became Seeder Need A Lot Of Bandwidth(It's Expensive).

Are there any good YouTube alternatives? https://d.tube/ is one which seems vaguely decentralized, though its underlying steem and ipfs platforms are naïve "do the first thing which comes to mind" systems. I have zero confidence in the robustness of these systems, and it's not even a "perfect is the enemy of good" situation, since dtube is also pretty janky. It's disappointing, though I guess there just aren't enough people interested in this stuff to put enough man-hours into it.

Dtube is not really a viable alternative and I say that as a massive fan of the Steem platform in general.
You cannot watch videos that are older than 7 days and the underlying system for uploading and automatically converting videos leaves much to be desired.

I think LBRY is doing a much better job in that regard, even though monetization is still somewhat of a problem.
There you can instantly back up your entire Youtube account and receive LBRY credits for it, depending on how many Youtube subscribers you have.

You can easily watch older videos (contrary to Dtube) & people can tip video creators with the free LBRY credits they receive.

Mind you, LBRY is created as a protocol, any service, app or website can make use of LBRY. It's completely open-source as well.

Saw LBRY being discussed on politics and society BTT section. The goods things it should help people more aware of LBRY, and able to grasp the potential of LBRY protocol, not to mention Youtube become excessive in demonization, and censorship.

As the team keeps on improving their services, they should look into some of the feedback from the reviews of their app.
Currently, I can say it is fairly decent though there are some clients who are not satisfied with your services, and that's normal.

I've read one customer saying this review -

We all know that most apps in google play really ask permission to our personal files, and sometimes I don't install it as well.
But if I really need that app like Grab, I have no choice but install.
Maybe, explain to your clients why you need to do that action and explain it really well.

These permissions are not specific or exclusive to the LBRY app - nor should they require any further explanation from LBRY or any developer whose app requires these obvious permissions - as, once again, already stated - most understand this is a general requirement/safety/awareness precaution of the Mobile Android OS.

This is so general of a complaint in regards to the common everyday steps of installing any app on Google Play within the past 5 years - it literally pertains to EVERY SINGLE app on Google play right now.

Amen, but we'll make it right! https://github.com/lbryio/lbry-android/issues/586

That's a nice approach towards this matter.
People sometimes are not oriented with the setup of google play apps.
If you can explain it clearly and not be arrogant about this, I don't think users will further complain about this specific issue.
At least clarify the matter and it's not your app that is totally responsible for that requirement but like a default protocol of installing an app from google play.

Complainers will complain. These are typical permissions most apps ask for if you want to save content on the device. I'll get an issue for this now that we have streaming implemented.

I am very worried about LBRY token delisting*, but in the other hand it could be no choice  in more and more regulated world. I hope LBRY team will support some DEXes to allow us to buy LBRY easy - I have no illusion most of regulated exchanges will longer allow libertarian project supporting decentralization ...

*LBRY listed on NovaExchange:
https://app.algory.io/app/cryptonews/777217/rt-nova_exchange-were-moving-on-with

There's nothing that we've been notified about to be worried about delistings. Polo/Bittrex did a purge recently, but we were safe.

At first, I'm happy that LBRY got a brand new official announcement thread. Nevertheless, It is sad that the fact this thread looks like 'inactive'. I'm starting to questioning that is it the disadvantage of a cryptocurrencies project that too focused their discussion on instant-messaging services (Discord/Telegram)?

To get quick overview of a project bitcointalk is best. Telegram is too noisy to find what you need, I often end up more confused than in the beginning. This is like a trend now that bitcointalk threads are inactive but instant-messaging is proliferating. Maybe people want simply talk with somebody than anything else.

I am using LBRY one time a week to get my 10 coins and I see constant progress, platform has this decentralised feeling yet but works, when you have little patience Smiley

Been laughing these fud posts off for a while now, not laughing anymore.
I won't deny that he is correct. LBRY is pitiful about exchange listings and could very well be removed from those few.

LBRY looks worse than most of the projects that have already delisted!

Great project, great team, great work, but how do you sleep on this slack?

Another thought, If they are delisting or is this Insiders Dumping and killing the token price?
