Thoughts?  Price is very low and seems s good buy but is it?

Obviously, looks like an easy x5 on the Bitcoin price

LBRY will have to meet some requirements.
Yep, below are the issue that Upbit addressed.
Quote
The project did not satisfy Upbit's internal criteria and standards (including team competency, business feasibility, communication transparency, technical capability, global liquidity) for the protection of its investors.

They give a week timeframe for LBRY to address the issue. I hope the team is working toward it.

Maybe they are not active in the forum but they can easily be reached with their social media channels.
Well yep, in fact, there is a lot of conversation on their social media channel. I do understand that the team might be focusing to attract content creators out there, in consequence, their instant messaging channels are crowded since all the creators are usually using an instant messaging platform.

What struck me, it is such a contrast between their messaging platform and this thread. I'd hope LBRY gains Bitcointalk community awareness since the platform is truly giving a decentralization toward the content marketplace.

This thread seems quiet Sad. Anyway, LBRY foundation is running a blog program in case anyone interested. The bounty is to make an article then post it on Odysee.

Each month the editorial board (currently Jon and Julie) will choose at least one article to repost from the LBRY Foundation Blog. The author of the published article will receive 50 USD in LBC and have their article boosted with 200,000 LBC for 15 days.

I have checked the feedback from their android app and they are pretty active in answering the users, which for me is a very good sign that they are also concern about what their users are saying to their app. And will make improvement from their end. Just couple of examples below -

Hey, where are the odysee.com videos/content stored exactly ? Is it on services like AWS ?

When you upload or watch content on Odysee, it comes from LBRY reflector servers. I don't know where exactly it's stored/hosted but they probably use multiple services across many regions. In my region, they use OVHcloud.

Anyone knows why Bittrexglobal disabled withdrawals/deposits for LBRY ? They don't seem to answer my ticket.
They only delist LBC on the Bittrex US market tho. The Bittrex global will not delist LBRY.

It was so stupid because I had a buy order in ETH Market but they left it in the market even though I did not know the market would not be available to me. So the buy order goes through now I had to withdraw it to another exchange. Bittrex is getting ridiculous.

Founder of Quantum Economics, Mati Greenspan, addresses an open letter "Don't let them kill cryptocurrencies" in which he writes in particular : "If the court rules against LBRY, it will literally call into question the future of all cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin and ether. Judges are usually guided by previous decisions in similar cases, so a negative decision in the case against LBRY will allow you to kill any project that uses tokens on the blockchain. Projects in the field of DeFi and NFT, projects based on smart contracts and any other, with the exception, perhaps, of stablecoins"
"Let's hope the judge sees the gaping holes in the SEC's statements. LBRY's lawyers have very strong arguments, so I'm pretty optimistic in this casehttps://mailchi.mp/6f7986014032/hot-off-the-press-qe-episode-13445836?e=ac072fa953

Not only government agencies such as the SEC hinder the development of the crypto market, but also major banks are actively involved in this, such as JPMorgan, for example, here is a letter to JPMorgan shareholders on behalf of JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon in which he directly calls digital assets a potential threat and calls for stricter regulation of cryptocurrencies: "Digital currencies and fintech projects should have a clear legal status, since they potentially threaten the traditional banking sector."  https://twitter.com/jpmorgan/status/1379773451393716226
