The first round of scrypt a docs aren't that impressive. On a cost ratio, they aren't THAT much cheaper than a video card. The savings is in power. One of the sites is selling a 300khash unit for $205. I got some GPUs on clearance at best buy that pull 330 khash for $118 each, normally $180. A 600khash gpu is $400+. The price is in the ballpark. It's the power that's killer. The asics are 5 watts.

Thing is tho with so many scrypt coins, and the ADDITIONAL cost of buying asics, I don't think there's much to fear in the immediate future.

especially considering that graphic cards can be resold after mining and the asics will be useless quite soon when x11 and other algos are used more and more

thats actually my plan as this coin is the best choice to do the PoS minting - still young and fresh and
PoS starts to earn coins after 5 days already

It just boggles my mind that people would use their talents to launch a coin instead of adding value to existing blockchains. Its like when IFC came out, then ADT, then TIX, then COL. IF people had just focused on IFC, imagine where it would be.

Palmdetroit maintains PHS off donations. He took an existing blockchain and fixed it up. No premine, no shills or sockpuppets. Now you have LGD, where some one just took his client, changed a few parameters and gives himself a 3% premine.

The dev should at least acknowledge the fact that this is a PHS fork and send some BTC over to Palmdetroit with a thank you note.

Make sure you support every other coin before your coin with a small btc donation too. Every coin after BTC is following suit. Sure some things changed with different algos, but what your arguing is semantics. Grow up and go back to your thread if you don't support Legendarycoin. Problem solved.

PHS is the superior coin. People should definitely consider supporting PHS. Dedicated team, no premine, mature blockchain, listed on Cryptsy. PHS is a nice coin to invest in.

LGD has a premine and an unknown dev, I would be careful this might turn out to be a scam.
