I know the concern eariler was some posts were deleted. Obviously they were probably people spreading FUD. I think we need to strike a balance here, we are a liberty coin, we should not ban people for speaking, but we obvoiusly can't have people spreading FUD, bashing people, and starting fights like happened eariler and happened to BC thread.
I think it's very important for us to have a grown up community, or professionalism here with freedom to speak, without wading through off topic and childish stuff.
Maybe we need a forum set of posting guidelines we decide is on topic, and keeping focus on this coin, so investors will stay here and love this coin.
We know how easily things can go sour when a coin is doing well.
So, I think fair posting guidelines or your post can be deleted for not following the rules. I believe people can start as many XLB threads as they want, but this one needs to be on topic, free of personal attacks, but open enough to talk about concerns and free from censorship.
Can we strike a balance so this happens, or what do you all think in this community is going to keep people coming here and the trolls away?
+1000
Agreed. Very good idea. *Some* sort of filtering needs to be implemented - not for censorship, but simply for the sake of decency and manners.
This is crazy!!!!
We are discussing the filtering, I do a good suggestion and it is deleted!!!!!!
We don't even know what you posted, but yes we need guidelines. You wouldn't stand up at a townhall and talk about the latest xbox game would you? This is the format now of a public forum. I think it's important to have freedom of speech, but when others are killing a thread and basically coming to town hall meeting and trainwrecking it, we can't let them do this forever. If you started shouting in a theater fire, you'd get kicked out. So where does freedom of speech and also ruining the communities thread stop and end?
This is why I think for this thread only, the OP, it needs to be on topic. We have this here as a record for this discussion of what are to have as guidelines. Why not? If community dislikes this, then so be it, but you realize this place will look like BC thread if we don't. Go look at the last days over there and realize it's horrible for there image. They shut it down it was so bad.
So, we admit there are FUD spreaders and trolls, how do we deal with them without causing the shift of balance away from free speech? Posting guidelines on what we will talk about here.
BTW, people have many times said don't talk about blackcoin here, this is liberty thread. Would that not be a guideline for a deleted post? See my point, it's just keeping things on topic, not censoring. We need what we will talk about to be very clear, and sure it can be negative, but not to distract us from our work.
