Bcnex - The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform
Hello everyone.

I am one of the Lightcoin project managers.

Questions about premine are already a wearout topic.

I have been around trading crypto currencies for the past 7 months and the same questions come up on every coin thread. They have been answered over and over for inumerous reasons.

Lightcoin Premine is to support the development of the project. There are already some bounties up.

About the future of the coin and what has to offer the community, there is a overview on the OP aswell project development plans but Michael (projectleader) is working on updating the OP till launch time!

I hate to rain on any parade that may be starting, this name is already taken, but just spelled differently. Maybe 'semantics' would be a better name?

This is going to be a pain in the ass.

Person 1 - "i'll give you 12 litecoins for it"
Person 2 - "What? are you kidding? its worth at least 40 lightcoins"
Person 1 - "are we talking about the same coins?"
Person 2 - "I don't know"
Person 1 - "fuck it"
Person 2 - "fuck you!"

this coin is going nowhere with a name like this. This may work going up against some dinky coin, but you are gonna try competing on namespace with the #2 cryptocurrency? With fucking silver? Shows sheer ignorance or lack of foresight.

X13 will be good instead of X11, won't it?

What is with everyones hard-on for X13 lately? Does anyone actually think those extra 2 rounds are gonna make any difference?

"I've got a 50 layer Kevlar vest, I just wish I had a 52 layer vest... then I'd really be safe"

Ehh x11 & x13 can go ____ a _____.   Those algos are built to serve one purpose, and that is to keep GPU miners mining with their GPU's, when there are much hardier, & cost effective means. However, as both a miner & investor myself, never EVER put your eggs all in one algo or investment. They  have their place, but they dont interest me long term @ all, as their whole reasoning for existence it to fight the forward progression of tech. Sort of like how 'some' coins only marketing is 'asic resistant', they may as well just say ' for the technologically impaired '.  YMMV.. have a good day everyone.

I have thought carefully on the name of the coin and me and my coworkers have decided that Lightcoin is the appropriated name for the plans we have for this project. We are here for the long haul and to deliver so I don't have any hurry to see a community grow around Lightcoin development.
Lightcoin (LIT) is not to be confused by the scrypt algo crypto currency named Litecoin (LTC). I am sure people can see the differences.

Thank you for the feedback and support.

FAQ:

How do I stake POS in my wallet?

The Minimum stake time is 12 hrs, with no Maximum stake time.
Don't move your coins and have the wallet open for minting.
If you are going to encrypt your wallet, to open a encrypted wallet for minting you can do it in 2 ways:

a) decrypt the wallet by going to your wallet settings.
b) go to help --> debug window --> console and enter this text: walletpassphrase "your wallet Password without the quotes" 99999999 true

a) fully opens your wallet and b) leaves your wallet encrypted but allows it to stake.
