bigger issue is the state of the crypto market. Korean government just nuked the market, now shorters making a killing.

Hell on wheels right now. Just Friday before last things were peachy. Now.... Shocked

I don't think it is only the korean government. The Bitconnect Scam was/ is bigger at the moment. There was so much money in Bitconnect and many people lost their money.

Hi there
Are there any conferences or showcase of your team members where we can actually meet and discuss with the team?

I definitely think projects of this type have a future in blockchain. The decentralization gives participants more control over their income than ever before, plus the anonymity for viewers. Good luck.

Dear Community,

During the first two days of the crowdsale Ethereum mainnet has been experiencing high load. Due to this, many participants had their transactions stuck in pending transaction pool for a long time. We have received many requests from participants asking to extend the discount, that's why we decided that 50% discount will last until 18.01.2018 10:00 UTC.

Please join our Telegram channel to get quick response from the team. We are now processing large amount of requests, and the quickest way to get to us is through Telegram - https://t.me/livestarsio

Thank you for your attention.
Live Stars team

That's great. Thanx a lot. So now we have some more time and I hope I will manage to do all what I wanted to do concerning this project.

Hmmm

The more I read this whitepaper, I am struck by the absence of technical thoughts about problem-solving in this business. At the same time, the lead programmer is very experienced and the site is professionally designed.

Other issues from the white paper:

Industry facts

"The following information has been collected based on the work of the technical support of one of the top webcam sites:"

"The technical support department receives an average of 750 chats per day and receives an average of 100 emails with various problems." (NOTE....that's not many chats!)

"On average, there are 250 new model registrations on a top website per day." (NOTE...ok, this is 1750 per week or 7000 per 4 weeks, that is good)

80% of them are the new models who never before worked on this particular platform. (also good)

10% of these new models become successful models that work in the future as well.

60-70% of the new models stop working before they can collect the minimal amount for withdrawal. (this is the BIGGEST issue for a site like this. What stops them from doing it again? Is it technical, privacy, payment or maybe dealing with unpalatable males? Did the site have feedback questionnaires for the females. Can livestars do this to ensure a Quality Assurance process?)

"99% of the newly registered male models never collect the minimal amount for withdrawal." (note - no surprise! But, the fact raises more questions than answers).

good facts indeed. i have to add that i found out, that there is no burning of tokens or something like this in the program. for example, you pay the model 10tokens = 1 token goes to dev fund, 1 token gets burned and 8 tokens the model gets. that way, the total amount of supplied tokens would gradually lowered, thus resulting in rising the price continually Smiley

this option, would be very good for investors now and upcoming new investors, ofc.

Now it is not a good time to presen LiveStars as Platform with much advantages. But don't forget that the same happened
in 2017, 2016, ... So at the end it will be stable and as long as the customers are paying.

Anyone knows how flexible the payment is? Is it different per girl or is it also flexible because of the proce of the coins?

Of course there are competitors but the key to livestars is decentralisation, is it not? - ie the goal of anonymity. Do the others have it?

It is worth adding the problem of popularity in crypto is scalability.

If there was say, 10000 models online and 100000 users globally at once, can this platform handle it? What if we add a zero to each?

Lagging at every key chokepoint of this project could kill it during an exponent in demand, if design is not crash tested for extreme loads.

Any tekkies here?

Well the platform it self (webcam/site) won't be decentralized, right? It's the token part that is decentralized. So it doesn't matter if there are 100000 models, they can just add servers like any normal webcam portal. But the tokens are on the blockchain and won't need that much processing power. Besides anonymity i think one of the biggest advantages is the efficiency of using blockchain tokens as payment, they have shown in their white paper this results in a much larger share of income for the models.

I don't know. This is what livestars has said:

"complete anonymity and security of users

data stored safely and in encrypted way

no mediators and limitations in the financial segment

the highest earning rates for models

private chat encoding even from Live Stars staff

serverless video chat technologies

open source code" (I suppose we will wait for this in the next six months)

If they have enogh servers and bandwith behind for stream, it can handle it. Im tekkie.

They are (and all the same startups/ICOS) decentralised at one point:
The moneyflow INSIDE the system is decentralised. Thats all.

But all the other things are centralised. They have (have to have) servers, where the website is and they have servers for streaming. Thats centralised and will be centralised.

Yes, the physical location of the servers is a good question.

Will livestars partner with a server business that has all or most of the nodes in just one nation, therefore vulnerable to government FUD as we saw with Korea this week?

Only 2 hours left with 50% discount, as the practice shows, the situation may change if large whales come in at the last minute.

It sounds like you may be trying to elicit FOMO. This is risky. It often creates FUD, drives people away>>>>> karma. (But it is a good sign to heed of.)

There is more than 23 hours left in the crowdsale (for 50% discount, per website). Even if you want to wait or have to, next step is 30% discount. (Edit, my bad about 40%)

So, I do not expect whales, whether minke, blue or sperm whale, to come at the last minute  Grin

Hopefully no killer whales, after today  Wink

Anyone who wants to buy, it is still 0.10 USD for one LIVE.

It is super simple to buy with ETH.

Softcap is already achieved.
