Who is this one guy you speak of?

seconded. and what are the questions he was asking? i don't really see why anyone should be shocked by falls like this. there doesn't need to be a reason. increased airdropping and the prospect of it ending is more than enough even if there is something sinister and i can't imagine what that is.

Who cares?
It was Greg Westcott, and he was questioning why we haven’t had a bigger marketing push yet.

Anyone who didn’t factor in these swings, deserves to get Rekt. Do your homework people and be realistic with your expectations. What did people think would happen, once you injected over 14mil coins into a small market over a short period of about 6 months.

Moon? Lambo?
Please.

Either your in LONG on btx, or your trading it and appreciate the volatility. Or you shouldn’t be in at all.
If you think you deserve a lambo, for buying some btx and holding through the “horrors” of a % increasing airdrop, and compound interest for a few month. Then you probably should think again.
That’s just lazy and naive.

My 2 sats.

Wasn't it Greg who should fix so many exchanges?

What happened with that?

Peace

I am not with the team anymore. It has been about 3 months since I was... At any rate, I had tried to crowd fund a marketing effort but someone brought up that the dev fund should be used for that. Being that there is 1.5 Million BTX there that seems to make sense. I really don't believe in the future of the coin as a whole but I also didn't necessarily mean to cause some massive crash in price. I did take profits and I have other ventures that I am working on. If a coin has little use case and nobody knows about it then it doesn't matter how good the tech is. I'm not profiting off of this decrease in price and in fact I lost 3-4 BTC because I announced I was selling prior to actually doing so.

You did take a few sheep with you on the way out though Greg Wink
Hopefully unintended.
But you could have probably handled this whole thing a bit better. Considering even you realized it cost you a few btc.
Such are theese markets though bro. you did what you had to do.
They can’t all be home runs.

He got disappointed with the progress so far, and wasn’t part of the btx dev team anymore. After jumping onboard back in oct, and then quitting in dec.
He needed the money for his mining farm, he said was selling all his coins not just btx, as he had to consolidate a lot of cash fast.

BTC is killing me just the same... Bear market is rough these days. I chose to not be so greedy and cash in for now. Mining makes sense to me.

Massive inflation coming in the next couple of months and it's OVER.
My stack will increase significantly during this period and I'm enjoying the dips to buy and the mining adjustment to solo mine again.
After months of playing the growing game, it will go to inflation only being created through mining, which is pretty low to be honest.  After price starts to come on, it will attract new miners and interest.  Price will stabilize because there is nothing holding it back.

I agree the big inflation caused by the later air drops will cause a continued price drop, then in May the mining block reward is cut in half, and no more air drops, and the price will begin rising continuously.  Could go down to $5, then hit $40-$70 by the end of the year, IMHO.

Do we know what block it changes and what the reward will be?  I wasn't even thinking about block rewards changing.

I know 400-500GHS supported a $35 price tag pretty well.  After transition, I could see a lot more mining farms jump on and help drive price up further.  1THS is possible after airdrops.  I agree it will "settle" after ending airdrops, but I think a lot of investors are holding long term anyway.  After the change of hands I would say it will climb again for sure.

May does sounds like the sweet spot.

As a trader and long-term investor into Bitcore, I wanted to share my thoughts on what I witnessed over the past few days...

Bitcore market cap on Feb 18 was $362M and today it's $125M - a 65% drop in 16 days!

A massive $237M literally evaporated in just a few days and all this because 1 guy started to ask questions!
This guy deserves the "Jamie Dimon" medal of honour for creating the most significant market correction in the short history of Bitcore!

I've been somewhat active in the Bitcore community since July and what impressed me the most over the past 3 or 4 days, is to watch all the sheep that this guy was able to convert from hardcore believers into haters! Indeed it's impressive to see people (I'm not going to name anyone here, but I think these guys can recognize themselves) going from a Bitcore cheerleader at 200% just a week ago and to now a total "hater"!

A lost of $237M in just 16 days and all this was for nothing! You know why?
Because nothing has fundamentally changed about Bitcore during these 16 days!

For everyone that still believe in Bitcore as I do, that have a long-term vision that exceeds April 30th, 2018, I have a suggestion to all of you.

When the next "Jamie Dimon" comes into the Bitcore world, be vigilant and do everything you can to convince him to voice his concerns privately with the dev team. We're lucky to have a dev team that is still accessible to us and it's our duty to protect this positive spirit that Bitcore had since Day 1 if we want to see this project succeed, not only because we want to make money, but also to help the Bitcore team change the world with their AMAZING TECH.

Never forget that anyone can learn and do marketing. There are millions and millions of marketers in this world... but there are just a few hundreds of gifted programmers.

I also took profit at around 0,0018 because i did see it comming. Still have 91 btx and fan of the coin. Maybe i do a part buyback after airdrop in the low. Crypto coins have a great futher and bet that btx will return in the top 100 of CMC. The sun can't always shine but will always return  Wink

I have been trying to defragment my Coinomi wallet like I usually do, but now I am unable to.  I try to do an internal transfer, sending 3000 BTX to myself.  I have tried over 20 times and it fails every time.  Coinomi sits there for 2-3 minutes, then says 'Error: Unable to broadcast transaction.'  If I try to send myself 1500 BTX, it works no problem.  Also, on a 1500 BTX internal transfer, the fee is really low (0.001BTX or something like that).  Sending 3000 BTX to myself and the fee is huge (0.11BTX), and it doesn't work.  Of course, sending myself 1500 BTX does not defragment my wallet, and I need to get all my coins back on to my air drop address by doing a 3000 BTX transfer.  Ideas...?

I don't use coinomi but can't you just turn off change addresses and send 2 x 1500?

a bit shock look at market price today haha lucky already sold mine 3 weeks ago .
is it still worth to buy ?

Nothing is doing great though, everything has suffered from massive corrections over the past few months and BTX was bucking the trend and not falling like pretty much every other coin/token. It is only now that the value is falling. Nothing in Crypto rises without end, it all comes falling down again eventually, it is just the volatile nature of the market. No doubt the price will rise again, and people will end up buying back in for far more than they made by dumping BTX during this dip.
