Do we have to put Bitcore signatures if we want to participate in weekly 3% airdrop?

nope just register your keys @ website

Thank you for your help.
I like Bitcore. I think it will be a good coin.

and u must have minimum 1 btx in your registered address. probably u saw the wankers expecting to get the airdrop with 0btx in their wallet.

Too many newbies brought into Crypto through all these viral ETH based token airdrops now, expecting everything to be free. That and the fact that barely any of them bother to read things properly, or know what they are even getting involved in.

totally agree with you BUT many rules are logical things. u can't expect to get % of nothing.

seems the price is tanking ,i do not like pump and dump game ,just stable and moving up normally is the best way .but anyway ,airdrop coin is a good coin .

Do the airdrop in opposite/alternative way , (12% weekly this month , 11% weekly next month and so on) ... It will make things different ...

I'm afraid it's too late to change the distribution model.. but I'm curious to know what your thought process behind this idea?

Currently , the base volume who join airdrop is around 1.6m BTX ... In current plan , in the last few airdrop round , the weekly airdrop volume will be way too much for the BTX market capital to keep the same level of coin price ... It will create unnecessary price up and down ... If we change in another way , new comer to the BTX world will tend to join earlier for higher airdrop return rate ... While the base volume who join the airdrop is still relatively small now, it's easier to create new BTX demand > airdropped coin selling pressure which is better for the short term price stability ... As time goes by , there will be less and less airdrop volume distributed to the market ... I think this will be a better approach than current plan ...

You know what..
I think it's brilliant!

I don't know why we never thought about doing a declining airdrop distribution model.
Indeed, it would stabilize the price, especially as we enter into the big airdrop weeks at 6% - 10%.
I also think it would help to build a solid and steady price growth as I think the community needs some positive sentiment at the moment given the price drop.
The circulation supply would also grow faster early on, which is not a bad thing given the CMC issue.
The early adopters would be rewarded at a higher rate vs. the later comers.  ...which I like this idea a lot!  Grin

You're always going to have the naysayers that will fear big dumps, but heck.. I see more pros than cons to this idea!

I guess the question would be at what percentage to start, 10%, 11%, 12%?
With the current plan, the airdrop will likely end around April @ 8%.

Great idea but I think it's too late... unless 90%+ of the community vote for this change.
I guess if the distribution model changed once, it can probably change again.

I think this idea should be debated.

Other thoughts?

I don't say it is a bad idea, just saying it is a delicate matter. changing the airdrop rules can create confusion inside the community. hell, even talking about it will create confusion... wait and see future replies. just an example: u can see dumb people in almost every page expecting to get % airdrop with 0 btx in their wallets. imagine making those people understand new airdrop rules. hell unleashed...

This is the best BTC clone, been following the project since the beginning, and it's very solid.

Just need to move it to bittrex.

Then it'll reach billions market cap club.

Still a manic miner
Please guys come and request Bitcore to be added to Shapeshift all I see is lots of posts moaning about CMC if you put that energy into getting the coin listed and used in more places i'm sure more adoption will quickly follow.

Is there anyway to download a recent snapshot of the blockchain, to save me from syncing the whole thing within the wallet? I am in Thailand on a kind of slow connection...

The whole thing is just 500MB and you will see the sync ist much faster then you expect. Give it a chance.

I cant register my wallet? I do exactlz what it sais on website and all i get in console is

Error: Please enter the wallet passphrase with walletpassphrase first. (code -13)

Can anyone help?

Console - signmessage yourwalletaddress AIRDROP . Than copy generated key and paste on bitcore airdrop registration site with your wallet address you want to register.

I do exactly like that but it doesnt work... it constalntly sais that error...
It's clear!
Your wallet is encrypted, so you just need to enter your passphrase (Password for encryption) for your wallet
I really don't remember how to switch off your passphrase for a while via console but maybe you'll find it by  yourself
UPD Switch to console and write: walletpassphrase 'yourpasscodehere' 600 - press enter. You'll have 10 min to do everything else

Hi guys, I'm a newbie here in BTX and in cryptospace in general. I have bought some BTX... downloaded the Bitcore QT wallet...registered my address and received my first airdrop last Monday.

My questions are, where can I find, in QT wallet, my private key? or there isn't any?

I also made a backup of this QT wallet. Is the backup.dat enough to secure my BTX coins? If I install another QT wallet in another computer and use this .dat backup, will I still be able to have access to my BTX coins?

I'm just curious. please can you enlighten me on this? thanks
