Sounds like you failed at day trading, I never had any issues with the exchanges you mentioned. I've only seen losing day traders complain about things that are already known to crypto space and even the traditional markets.

Sounds like you don't know what you are talking about. Read this topic first, especially autumn 2017 pages, then talk about daytrading and your other fantasies.

Hello people! Who knows what a parody of Bitcore appeared on the Coinmarketcap with the same name Bitcoin X (BTX)? Why are they doing that? I would understand it if Bitcore was very popular and famous.

i wrote them a post about this last week and got one reply. here's a link to the reply which quotes my post. they don't seem very active :

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.47771066

i also have a utility i wrote that scans bitcoin forum threads for accusations of scams (and other things). one person noted that the name "bitcoinX" has actually already been used - for a previous scam - and that person suggested that the reuse of names (both the coin name bitcoinX) is a ploy sometimes used by scams to create confusion. I'm not making a judgment as to whether bitcoinX is a scam, i'm just noting what others say.

here is some output from my utility when I ran it against the 'other' BTX last week :

Token/Coin Name : Bitcoin X
Initial forum page : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/pre-ann-bitcoin-x-a-global-solution-for-scaling-issues-pre-ann-4917645
Website : https://bitx.tk/

Industry : Cryptocurrency
Business Problems Purportedly Mitigated by Token/Coin Use:
The most commonly used cryptocurrencies are not scalable1
The speed of cryptocurrencies does not compare with paypal or visa2
source: Bitcoin X Whitepaper, section "Introduction"1, "Transaction Processing speed comparison"2

the person you probably want to talk to is Carlos - he did the graphic design. go to this page on the bitcore website :

https://bitcore.cc/resources-placeholder-dummy/eco-system-2/

towards the bottom you will see some press kits.  these contain the graphics you will want to use. the downloads are these :

https://github.com/dgcarlosleon/Bitcore-BTX-graphic-identity/releases/download/Bitcore/BitcoreBTXpressKitBasic.rar

https://github.com/dgcarlosleon/Bitcore-BTX-graphic-identity/releases/download/Bitcore/BitcoreBTXpressKitFull.rar

https://github.com/dgcarlosleon/Bitcore-BTX-graphic-identity/releases/download/Bitcore/BitcoreBTXgraphicIdentityManualVersion0.5.pdf

https://github.com/dgcarlosleon/Bitcore-BTX-graphic-identity/releases/tag/Bitcore

I don't know if you need special permission from the team to use the above graphics - I would use the email address from the website : mailto:[email protected]

All are scam exchanges when you try to FUD  Cheesy
What FUD? Craptopia was getting airdrop from users deposits, shitbtc had huge deposite issues, bot-z had fake volumes on BTX pairs, that now real is about 0 BTC daily, exrates is same fake shit as bot-z. That's facts.

The problem with Newbies is that people could create tens of Newbie profiles in minutes just to cash the airdrop. So you need some ranking to be sure they are real people.

Ranking?  How is that gonna help?

You need KYC to prevent that kind of fraud.

So it's doomed to trade on craptopia, sHitBTC, bot-z and other shitty scam exchanges.
LOL, which are they?
To be honest, I have never heard about Craptopia, sHitBTC, bot-z exchanges.
So, did you make typos in a row?

At least Cryptopia and HitBTC used to be decent exchanges. Things change quickly in crypto but no project can afford to pay the latest hype exchange.

For the size of the cryptopia and hitbtc exchanges it is still in the middle board, but if it is not enough to stabilize the desire it might have to be added to bittrex or poloniex if possible. Seeing crypto now like people coming and going, everything changes quickly.

I think we can all agree bitcore deserves better exchanges, easier said than done though.

Getting on exchanges is a consequence of demand and adoption, not a cause of demand and adoption. People often confuse cause and effect regarding this theme. Bitcore is technically a better coin than all those silly BTC forks around, but has only a fraction of their visibility. Few people are aware about Bitcore, this is the main problem.

(...) What you need to understand is that without quality market(reliable, accountable) where you can safely buy Bitcore, it's impossible to gain organic growth, organic growth do not exist without a constant, reliable market. Every coin that was scammed by existing exchanges throughout the year using all kind of tricks, obviously got in the hands of those who scammed them.
Development and partnerships are awesome, but they get hammered by the huge loads of coins that were scammed by existing and vanished exchanges. And again. And again, until there will be a reliable market.

I don't understand what you are trying to say. Which exchanges would have "scammed" BTX from whom and how?

cryptopia is a crapy exchange and they scammed me before not btx another coin
99% of bit.z volume is fake
but hitbtc is a good exchange
It was better if instead of this 10 exchange we were in one good exchange like Huobi or Binance

Payment Gateway Allows Recurring Payments
I didn't open my wallet for several months and now that I did it doesn't synchronize any more. Has anything changed I should be aware of? Which could be the reason?
You need to download the new version of the wallet. The old version is no longer supported. It is enough to replace the main file. In my opinion it is called Bitcore.exe

Thanks, I had forgotten about the new wallet, now with the new wallets it's synchronizing. Any news on how much time it will still take for the Nano Ledger support? I see it's 50% done on the roadmap, but I cannot translate it into weeks and months Smiley
Chill, they will be there soon. I'm also waiting for that moment but I don't follow the progress so it might be a surprise and achievement if one day we'll just see them announced that they are finally with Ledger.  Smiley

I think that the project team is not focused on listing and are added where they are offered by the exchanges themselves.

So it's doomed to trade on craptopia, sHitBTC, bot-z and other shitty scam exchanges.
