the main bitcore-specific contributors I see across the project and all of these subprojects are (in no particular order) :

dArkjON ( https://github.com/dArkjON ) - 339 commits over the past year.  this is "Jon"
dalijolijo ( https://github.com/dalijolijo ) - 1,386 commits over the past year.  this is "David"
TheTrunk ( https://github.com/TheTrunk ) - 624 commits over the past year.
joshafest ( https://github.com/joshafest ) - 60 commits over the past year.

so it looks to me like there are 4 active developers on the project, at the current time. This is open source so new people could add themselves and others could fade away, so the number of active developers at any one time is not set in stone.

Wow, that’s a lot of commits for 1 year for a $10MM coin - talk about a dream team.

Regardless, no marketing blown deadlines, no merchants - if BTC has another leg down we could see $.25 or less.

Sadness...

You are right, the trend is that the price may be even lower. But I hope for large holders who have accumulated all this time.

What, they only have one dev?  That sucks!  I’m seeing $.10 if that’s the case.

I see 7 on GitHub, with varying degrees of activity. 2 or 3 main ones.

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/graphs/contributors

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/bitcore-lib-btx/graphs/contributors

If this is true then there are a lot of misinformation about the project. It's a great difference between 1 and 7 active developers!!!

the active developers are what i mean by the "main ones." so i see 2 or 3.  the reason for the "or" is that there are a number of sub-projects under LIMXTEC which all support the Bitcore ecosystem (for example the bitcore-lib-btx mentioned above is a sub-project), and each contributor to those subprojects can have their own bitcore related subprojects in the works which have not yet been added to the list of LIMXTEC subprojects. I went ahead and further analyzed this, without going into each contributor's subprojects, so the below doesn't reflect any work done which has not yet been merged or accepted into the deployed code.

the main project (i.e. the "core" project) that I see is this one :

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/graphs/contributors

the subprojects that I see are these (note the contributors listed are those from the project that these subprojects forked from, so only bitcore developers which contributed to the main branch are relevant) :

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/Bitcore-BTX-RPC-Installer/graphs/contributors
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/awesome-bitcore-btx/graphs/contributors
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/bitcore-lib-btx/graphs/contributors
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BTX-Paperwallet/graphs/contributors
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/bitcore-node-btx/graphs/contributors
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/Bitcore-BTX-Media-Gallery/graphs/contributors
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BTXinsight-docker/graphs/contributors
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/insight-ui-btx/graphs/contributors
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/insight-api-btx/graphs/contributors

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/bitcore-message-btx/graphs/contributors

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/bitcore-wallet/graphs/contributors
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/bitcorej/graphs/contributors
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/PAPERWALLET/graphs/contributors

there are other subprojects under LIMXTEC which have titles that lead me to believe are unrelated to bitcore, so I have ignored those.

I dont think that you can compare it with a tripple a scam like Bitconnect.

More like Steem , Bitcoin Private , Hush.
Someone played the Airdrop pretty well and then we ran out of buyers at all.

There wasnt a key support level that lasted since the end of the Airdrop so far.
Just a sad chart, chart is sad.
We even broke down to 4 diggits like nothing.

Chart is reflecting marketing job of the team, sitting on 1M coins and not paying for major exchanges for listing, waiting it will add for free itself or with voting, lol. With 5BTC daily dumping volume there is way only to zero price.
All shitcoins will die soon anyway.

If the developers do something for the coin, then we do not see it. The price continues to fall amid a decrease in volumes at such a pace the road to depreciation is open. No trading volume, no investment. The coin is just living its last days. I am very sad that I have invested in it and believed in a project that will soon die completely. Even the shields of ito feel more alive at the expense of the investment, and who needs btx .... nobody. Cry

Don't use google translation anymore.

however good the Bitcore team work is, the constant fall in the price of a coin demoralizes

interest in the coin falls
production drops, turnover drops
falling turnover automatically forces players to sell coins
the final of the story is obvious
there will be no incentive to buy a coin, the price will get to zero

Bitcore dropped from Living Room of Satoshi ?

I went to living room of satoshi today ( https://livingroomofsatoshi.com/ ) and noticed that BTX was no longer appearing in their drop down list. So I sent an email to their support ( [email protected] ) pointing it out and asking if they intentionally dropped it or if it is a mistake on the web site.

Did you check bathroom of Satoshi?  I saw BTX circling the bowl earlier.

heheh  Cheesy  I always like your posts vlad - they make me laugh

on a sadder note, technical support just verified with me that they dropped BTX due to low usage. here's a snippet from their reply email :
----
We regularly review our supported coins and unfortunately Bitcore was removed as it had very little usage. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks,
Aaron

Living room of satoshi is mentioned by the bitcore team all over the place - website, articles, etc. I've mentioned them too in posts I've made in various places about BTX. I guess i'll have to go back and edit the references that I've made that I can find.

The most messages in the thread during last tens pages are about "Why BTX price is so low? WHY?!!"
But it's meaningless, really. The price now matter NOTHING. Price already lost practically all.
However Devteam is really active.
Let's stop cry about price and let's discuss more technical details, promotion or smth else except of price.

I agree with this.  I try to do one small thing a day to try to help the project. little by little these things will hopefully add up.

today I did this :
1. pretend I was a brand new investor and wanted to find out more about BTX. so I searched on google for videos on BTX
2. one prominent one, which gave a bad review, stood out : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbGcPk2OW4Y (almost 3k views)
3. so I logged on and added a civilized comment to it, providing updated info with supporting links, and expressing a desire for a second look at the coin by the reviewer.

i suggest doing things like this, because even though they are small acts which may not result in the intended changes, they are constructive.

I'll tell you that the process of dropping coins is almost endless to zero. One more sharp Bitcoin drawdown to $5,000 and we will see a BTX of 10 cents.

That’s my thinking as well.  That’s the big risk right now.

So I should make my strategy, set buy orders for btx on 0.1$ if its great risk, that's also great opportunity.
guys, the market can go up or down, it is not clear yet. but Bitcore team is really works welland and I thing this project  is one of the good one.

I have heard this for the past year and the price keeps falling. How can the best project suffer from a lack of investment?
