What miner version are people using with AMD GPUs right now? I've read a couple reports of people with sgminer gettin 8-10 Mh/s on a Rx 480 but I'm not sure what version they're using.

I am getting 10mh with rx480 8gb with sgminer yes. Do you know some best miner than sgminer?
Obviously with nvidia ccminer is more fast than AMD but if you have some good miner just tell us bro we will try

Today I know there is another fork of bitcoin

There will most likely be 2 hard forks of Bitcoin. The first is Bitcoin Gold, which is later this month and the next is the Segwit2X hard fork, which may be coming in November.

Maybe a fed.

Please NEVER use android apps for big business.

You can claim ur privkey over desktop wallets.

what do you mean by "big business" ? and for what reason I should never do that
is it prohibited or simply just preference for good practice?
some people just don't want to bother to get wallet and download full blockchain
and choose the lightweight wallet app for easy use

Big business -- claiming tokens or getting the airdrop.
Yes you can, but unless you're experienced with wallet apps its advised to just download the whopping 150 mb btx wallet..
Generally though its better practice to use a full wallet.

good morning everyone

I was wondering what prerequisite was it necessary to participate in the airdrop and if it is still in active?

just hold over 10 BTX in one address on your personal wallet and the airdrops will be active for a long time.

Disobey.
Is there anyone know when will we register the BTX address? I remembered it will start from early October but not found in website.
You do not need to register your wallet for now. This was not an announcement yet.

Thanks. Got it.
Just found it is in discussing and voting time. Grin

Don't worry. Just check this thread from time to time and the first page and you should be fine. If the news is out how to register your address we will fire on all communication channels, no-one will miss out. You can also have a look at Telegram, slack, facebook, steemit etc., but bitcointalk should suffice.

Same goes for the final decisions for distribution and airdrops, we will give our best to inform all of our BTX-enthusiats and hodlers.

Meanwhile here is a small teaser for a few upcoming artworks: https://imgur.com/dGEZkWt
Unfortunatelly I can only access higher res versions when I am back in my office next week.

no one bothered to answer this, but is the premine of 16M going to be depleted in the airdrop or not? with my math it say that in less than 4 years all the 16M coins for the airdrop will end

It is not yet decided how the final distribution will be. You can read about and vote for your preferred option here:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/btx-distribution-oct-30th-2199926

this "On October 30th 25% of the unclaimed coins will be airdropped to BTX holders in proportion to the percentage that they own"

mean that if have have 200 btx i get 4k? what is the current amount of circulation of btx?

Nope it would mean about 3.8x multiplier on your coins but everything is displayed in the spreadsheet.

No, according to the second version of the distribution plan (hybrid plan), you will receive about 800 Btx if you have 200 Btx.

You can claim with your Privkey then. We recommend to move your original BTC to a new BTC address before.

Can anyone answer this? Original BTC snapshot airdrop required signing of the wallet. Is this possible with a new SEGWIT address? Will signing be required for the upcoming 2nd snapshot?

Thanks
I think that in any case, you need to sign a wallet. Not suitable, if BTC on the exchange.

Quick question:

In the Dev's roadmap there is a plan to airdrop 0.4BTX for BTC based on a snapshot at the end of October.
I already claimed my BTX from the first snashot from my BTC held in legacy addresses. I have purchased extra BTX on exchanges.

My question is when the second snapshot is taken my BTC will be in a new segwit address. Will this be a problem for the 2nd Airdrop and should I move my BTC to a legacy address?

why its not a fork?
BTC hardfork will produce BGOLD. Its all over the news.

Too many projects parasitize on bitcoin and his fork. And all of them looks scammy.

The number of bitcoin hard forks is starting to get a little ridiculous. That being said, I have been saying for a while that Bitcoin isn't the end all to be all and it is far easier to create anew than to constantly battle inevitable changes. It almost reminds me the continual fight in congress to increase the debt ceiling. It keeps coming up and to me this is the same with cryptocurrency and scaling. That is why bitcore is so nice because there will be no scaling issues for the forseeable future since it can currently handle 22.2 billion transactions per year.
