I'm only aware of Bitcore since less than an hour ago. I was intrigued by it appearing in the Top 200 at WorldCoinIndex and started to do some basic research. Now I'm really intrigued!

I will have to find a way to buy some Bitcore. Unfortunately it isn't available at Bittrex. I wonder how difficult it is to open an account at Cryptopia...

Hi, I was in the same position as you two weeks ago. It is quite simple, I use bittrex mainly and I managed to buy some BTX on cryptopia without any issues (although as an Ethereum guy I find quite annoying how long does it takes to send bitcoin and how much does it cost...).
Just don't forget to transfer them to your wallet so you get weekly airdrops!

I also think that this is the best plan. Just continue with the 3% (or even make it 2%) until there is nothing left to distribute. A big airdrop will only attract very short sighted speculants and after that they will leave quickly (towards another coin)
Reward long term holders and users with a slow and steady airdrop.
Maybe you should also look at Byteball. Using the airdrop for discounts with real world collaborators (shops, restaurants, .. ) might also be a good way to go.

Now the developers are deciding how the next airdrops will occur. Most likely it will last at least until the next spring.

That's right, but, as far as I understand, there is already a rule to transfer BTX until 00:00 on Monday in Germany.

I was wondering about low volume on Cryptopia - other exchanges do not count at all -

Probably the airdrop scheme leads people to conserve their btx into personal wallet rather than trade with them.

Furthermore not so many new investors are coming

I think that 10% a week is too much. Guys, understand that this is very difficult for the market. Demand will not absorb such an offer. A much more attractive step-by-step increase of percentage.

Yeah I got your point. Why the hell not stick to the dev's plan? i don't get it... I mean to be honest, you can not make everyone happy with whatever model. They are always peoples who will complaining. I voting for dev's original plan. Maybe an increase every month to 4%, 5%, 6% would be cool but is not a must.

However, I'm very happy with the original plan. Don't be that greedy guys Cheesy

It's not really about greed but more about what's best for the coin. I have calculated for every single plan how many coins I would receive and in the end I will receive roughly the same amount no matter the plan. It really is about being able to get on larger exchanges more quickly. The more distributed we are the higher our chances are in getting listed at Bittrex or another like exchange.
