No risk, no fun!
Yes, I was sad to see that the block rewards are down to 3.125 from 12.5 3 hours ago. so far on YIIMP it doesn't appear that we are getting the 4x less rewards any faster.

I have written a update that we change the blocktime from block 10.000 ^^ We use no a other diff algo too. The DK3 was the initial for our start. My goal is to have the same total amount and blockhalving like BTC.

16,419,437 BTC
16,400,830 BTX

Actually its not fair to bitcore mining ppl. Bitcoin started with 50 I think. So if you really want to follow that, you should have started from Bitcoin numbers. Not follow them in the middle when they are low. Right now, I do not think it actually makes sense to mining this unless you change the Block reward.

you forgot, that we offer to claim ur already hard mined btc Wink. so in the nature sense, you would have mined till the airdrop all bitcore like bitcoin! you got it?  Wink

we even give all bitcoin holder the unbelievable chance to claim their big bags for free  bitcore....

In the end, we are awesome fair with our handling from the snapshot.

Still getting 1+ a day (I mean I got 1 btx in around 19 hours)
Well, you're not "getting" it anymore. The difficulty was at ~184 for the most of those 19 hours, and ~ 3 hours ago it jumped to ~736. Which means you're getting ~4 times less BTX per day now.

We use a retarget all 2016 blocks.

16,421,575 BTC
16,419,171 BTX
So who would mine now? I was blake2s level of profitable few hours ago, now pool's empty and profit went to hell.

Hmm haven't seen a drop in the btx amount as of yet, pool mining life lol.  Guess it'll happen soonish.

It actually isn't bad I mean I use one 1050 to mine this and get around 1 btx a day at current difficulty.
Just putting it out there.
Not anymore though? The difficulty went up to 736 now.

Can anyone explain how difficulty adjustment works with this coin? The original post is not very clear on this. I thought it used to be new diff every block, but now it isn't?

And as long as it's not on a common exchange as Bittrex, I for one won't buy BTX.

What's wrong with crypto pia? One of the best support teams in the industry and smooth deposit withdrawals everytime in my experience

I never had a problem with cryptopia, for me it's more reliable than poloniex, sure you won't trade big volumes but for small coins it's excellent, never seen a scam from them like the ones yobit is pulling regularly.

What scams is YoBit pulling regularly?

I'm not even checking it closely but I had 3 coins where yobit basically closed withdrawals so they could stake the coins on and on, I also saw them forking coins and not willing to switch to the official chain and a lot of people without knowing why the price is low, they just bought up there, essentially a dead coin. There are a lot of stories if you check around this forum. I stopped using yobit this year, it's just too shady.

I see one problem with this airdrop: say you have 1 Bitcoin and earned 1 BTX. That would give you 1/15074th of the 16 million airdrop in November, so approximately 1000 Bitcore!
Then, this extra airdrops started. Rich wallets get a total of 180000 BTX, which means in November your wallet gets a much smaller share, less than 10% of what it would otherwise have gotten.

I don't understand the relationship between the weekly airdrops and the November one. Can someone explain how it works?
I know top 1000 get 10 coins (every Monday?)
Also, April BTC snapshot gave 1 btx per btc

What happens in November?

So this means that the 1000th wallet has roughly 9 pieces of BTX in it? As of today?
Last time it was 16, which turned into 26. I'm surprised they moved those amounts around again. Unless it's an exchange doing it.

In my opinion this has a flaw. It's fine to give the rich more than the poor, but now the rich get relatively more too, which widens the gap. And as long as it's not on a common exchange as Bittrex, I for one won't buy BTX.

On exchange yet?

on cryptopia, not in a huge hurry to get on bittrex or other main exchanges until the coin becomes a bit more distributed through the weekly airdrop and the large distribution in november.
