how hard would it be for maxcoin to reach out for people who wish to cooperate before launch. But no - it is better to find out live, who is interested in creating pools.
majority of miners are botnet owners right now, I don't want to see the crash when they decide to cash out. I will not be here anyway.

I had problems with the Windows wallet too, even deleted everything but the wallet & conf file.

The issue (for me) tured out that I still had the gen=1 option in the conf file. I also deleted the other server settings and just left the addnodes in my conf. Worked fine from that point on, no crashes.

Yeah same here. I got the openCL miner (That Archit made, thanks mate!) and then started mining. Got it instantly.
Then I saw CGminer got released at 1gh and I downloaded it. I guess I was lucky because I got 0.3MAX/block @ypool for like 1 hour, which gave me around 15 coins

If you are getting about 450-500M/hash that is normal (per card) as this coin wasn't designed for GPUs and because it is another algo, it won't hash as fast a SHA-256 but faster than scrypt, but hash rate won't effect the payouts as everyone is limited, 280x=about 350-400M/hash limited too, but if you are getting less that 450-500 then you do need to improve but if not NO NEED TO WORRY XD

I am getting quite nice hashes in cgminer, but it doesnt show at pool... there at dashboard I see olny 1/4 of my HR at cgminer.. rejects are good, invalid as well.. only at worker settings I see same HR, but not at dashboard.. anyone knows why? Do I hast that speed or not?

be careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I check their recent payout. Most of TXID cannot be traced by block explorer. Seems the miners didn't receive their coins.
Check by yourself!!
