got my 9800gt going running at about 1-1.2mhash/s how does this compare to cpu's?
Kinda weakly. You can pull out at least twice that, and possibly even 4-5x, on a decent CPU.

GTX760 pulls out 54MH/s Maybe you have it misconfigured.
And 1gh seems to work fine, I don't see the problem.

Oh, I wondered why my balance was up, it's meant to auto-payout every 0.5MAXAny other decent pools? 1gh.com doesn't seem to work with the cgminer.
Only Ypool works and their site has been DDOSed all day, so you can't sign up for an account to use it.
