This is just the usual nonsense early sellers selling to themselves to try and establish an insane price as "normal."   It will drop, I expect with this fiasco of a launch MAX doesn't settle above 100 satoshis when it's all said and done.  Probably will end up lower than MEOW.  Going to close all my now-useless miners and back to PrimeCoin and VertCoin, and popping the popcorn while watching this community (rightfully) shove this clunker into the bin.

I thought so too but I put up an order and it got filled, sold like 15 MAX for 0.58 BTC, heh.

Uhhh... yeah there is, because i compiled one.

Not sure why the devs had so much issues. I had to get past one new addition to the QT compilation process and it went smoothly.

find the process ID (PID) by

ps aux | grep maxcoind

you will find two entries... one for maxcoind the other for this command trying to find maxcoind (should be the lower number one that's the real maxcoind)

then

kill (the PID of maxcoind)
