Extending the ICO is definitely a good call. I think giving the chance for the project to raise more money would be great for more development over a longer period of time.
If all the unsold coins are burnt, the total supply will drop dramatically correct? Which would make each MDN token probably more valuable.

Hello there, we're excited to know that you have taken an interest into the Meridian project! Glad to have you here.
This is a very intelligent observation that you have made, since we haven't made any public reference to this being a necessity due to the digital collateral aspect of our project.
It is essential that we prevent whales from gaining possession of an excess amount of Meridian tokens. We are lucky enough to have found several solutions to prevent this from happening, and are working on implementing these solutions internally.

i turn to https://ico.mymdn.io/ and find only 37btc raised by now, it is far away from the hard cap of $15 million, so is thers a minimum which means if less than this there will a refund

There is no specified target for the Meridian ICO
A Hard Cap is defined as a 'limit' placed on the amount of funds raised during an ICO. Which implies when this limit is reached, the ICO ends.
Whereas...
'Soft Cap' is defined as the 'target' for the amount of funds raised during an ICO. With a soft cap, the implication is that if the soft cap is not achieved - then the funds are returned.
The Meridian ICO does not have a soft cap.

Hey MeridianMDN, say the ICO reaches 200 BTC that would only be a certain amount of Meridian sold, what would happen to the remainder of the unsold coins? Is there a plan to decrease the total supply or will the total supply be distributed evenly among ICO participants depending how much they invested? Thanks!
