Just a heads up that Chinese new year is in 2 days. In the US it's the evening of the 30th. In China it's the 31rst there.
There will be some major sell offs over the next 2-3 days. All coins including BTC will be down somewhat so
plan accordingly.
I think after new years this coin will blow up. I know they were buying it because coinedup would get super slow at like 4 am here in
the US so must be China.

Why is everyone so confident that the relaunch will make Meow explode?
Sure, the supply would be cut in half which should double the value of coins, but only theoretically. Only if we get more people interested in it. So theoretically they value should go up but that depends a lot on other factors outside of the relaunch.

Because the relaunch also includes a host of services, information, websites, and vendors that will accept MEOW and allow people to pay with MEOW. Rather than letting these trickle out we are doing them as one solid relaunch. Also we'll have all the other core services real coins need like a block explorer, a legit website, etc.
We'll also share some of the KittehCoin roadmap on relaunch which speaks to the new features we'll adding the coin. Many of which are entirely unique to scrypt coins. We'll be getting listed on CoinWarz and CryptoCoinDir and will be pushing to get listed on Cryptsy and Coinex.pw after relaunch and those are just the things I can think of off the top of my head

Let people sell meow, I believe this is a good thing in the mid to long term. Don't forget - Kitteh has 9 lives.
As the price of Meow drops, more people will be tempted to buy in. As more people buy in, we expand the community and get more supurrters. With a growing support base and expanding community, KittehCoin gets more attention (it is the cat's ass after all). Next thing you know, our media attention is broader than some dude I'd never heard of before (Max Keiser).
Expanded user base paired with mew features coming in the relaunch AND the Kitteh/Doge dichotomy will propel this coin to new heights.
All of that said, I would love to see some charitable initiatives come along. Something heartwarming and feline related. This provides a dual benefit of a) being good social citizens who share our successes and b) increasing the profile of the coin so that more good can be done.
What I'd REALLY LOVE TO SEE is a few pools taking things up a notch. If you run a pool, especially if you have a fee to help cover expenses, CONTRIBUTE 100% OF ALL DONATIONS TO A LOCAL KITTEN RESCUE or something of the sort. Promote it and make it transparent so that individual users can see in the blockchain that their contributions were sent in full.
We could be cool cats and literally save a metric shit-ton of kittens from euthanasia. That would be epic.
