I was just looking at Cryptsy, watching the Doge pairings drop, the VTC pair drop, etc, then peeked at the Kitteh pair to see this:

The price of MEOW can increase, but this will not be due to the new block reward.
We had something like 700 block per day instead of 2880, which is one quarter. With KGW we should have a little more than 2880 per day as it does not perfectly handle multipools switch, but very close to.
Because the reward will also be ~ a quarter of what it is now, price will probably just stay stable. 4*1/4 = 1 isn't it ?
So two things can really increase the coin value : community/dev and pump and dump.

MEOW will be fine. Kittehcoin is like 3 months old or something, relaunch has been less then 2 weeks. Give it some time. I'm with Kitteh all the way and I have faith in the future development of this coin.
