Project developments are good., devs and entire team looking great! Waiting eagerly for masternode ann..
Any idea on how much the collateral amount would be for a single service node guys??

Hello ya5h, we are waiting for more details in V3 of the whitepaper (which is on its final edit stage now and should be out in a few weeks). Also note that the collateral requirement is dynamically adjusting meaning in relation to blockheight the collateral will go down.

You can keep up with the current progress here: https://www.reddit.com/r/LokiProject/comments/8szarh/weekly_dev_update_220618/

Collateral will go down in relation to blockheight? good and interesting.. Looking forward to it! Thanks  Smiley

Has there been a final confirmation regarding the number of coins required to start a master node? Some say its 10,000. I just wanna confirm so that I can decide if I can afford a Loki master node or not.
We don’t know the exact value needed yet until the v3 of the whitepaper comes out. But it will not be less than 10K Loki.

That's a lot of LOKI. Any reason the number is that high and will there be a staking option like wallet staking?

So....what are the chances of the average miner running a master node (assuming we've collected enough LOKI)? I'm a bit concerned that there will be nothing left for miners because of the pre-sale.

Anyone will be able to run a service node since Loki is an open source project. If you have enough Loki and you have the technical capability, then I think you should be good. You can keep up with the current Dev progress here: https://www.reddit.com/r/LokiProject/comments/8szarh/weekly_dev_update_220618/

Any estimation on what the profit will be to run a service node?
I can only give you the percentages of the block reward so 50% of the block reward goes to the miners, 45% to the service nodes for validating blocks, 5% to the governance pool. This is according to the V2 of the whitepaper. V3 will be released soon so this information might be updated. We'll let you know when it's out.

The idea of SNApps is also very attractive. Developers will now be able to built privacy-focused applications on top of a private blockchain.

I user tool Casr xmr-star  miner for loki on pool loki.miner.rocks but software error share. why?
Show us a screenshot of the error that the miner software shows. Not having this information is very difficult to guess what you have a problem. Standard recommendations: reinstall Windows, using the latest drivers for the graphics card (what video card do you have?). Try to remove overclocking if you are using.
