Big exchanges like Poloniex and Bitfinex are trying to be serious business so they won't list a perceived meme currency. Half to one year ago, there were not enough coins and exchanges don't have any clear-cut standards so monacoin might have a better chance...
It's not like that. What matters to them is tech (MONA is very solid on that point) and community (at this stage, mostly in Japan).
Feel free to send listing request to these exchanges.
As for meme currency, Polo has Doge. So if MONA keeps on enjoying good volumes in Japan, it will be listed on more exchanges abroad very soon.
