No paper wallet? WTF!!!

Any coin without a paper wallet gets auto-sold on crypsty. Mooncoin needs to get its act together. POS coin

Have you seen this: http://mooncoin.info/?p=125 ?

You can create your own paper wallet easily.

See here, too:
http://www.reddit.com/r/MoonCoin/comments/1v5hdo/mooncoin_paper_wallet_generator/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eTkiGGzOME (just replace the D for Dogecoin with 2 (Mooncoin-addresses start with it) - derived from "2 the Moon" ;-)  )

I've used this faucet already many times the last weeks, but the server balance stays already a few weeks i think at 0.
Does somebody know how it comes.

Cлyшaйтe. Mнe плeвaть чтo вы дyмaeтe, нo c pool мoнeты нe yxoдят нa дeпoзит! Heкoтopыe cгeнepиpoвaныe мoнeты нe пoдтвepждaютcя yжe cyтки. Ceгoдня c yтpa вpoдe вcё cтaлo нopм, нo к вeчepy вcё cтaлo кaк и paньшe! И вы мнe бyдeтe paccкaзывaть, чтo нa мyн нeт aтaк, нeт бaгoв? Moжeт пoдoждaть? eщё мнe cкaжитe? He бyдy я пocты cвoи yдaлять. Пpoблeмa c мyнoм былa и ecть.

From Google-Translator, here is what you wrote - in English:
Listen. I do not care what you think, but do not leave pool coins on deposit! Some coins are generated not confirmed already night. This morning was like all rules, but in the evening everything was as before! And you're telling me that no attacks on mun, no bugs? Can it wait? tell me more? I will not delete your posts. The problem with the moon was and is.

U P D A T E   Y O U R   W A L L E T  !
Nobody but YOU is having problems with Mooncoins anymore. Are you a troll? Only because YOU lost your coins - because you did not listen to us here and in the Trollbox at CoinEx - don't pull the whole coin and its community down.

We have helped you as good as we can. And still would do, if you'd ask an educated question, not spreading FUD.
Why are you typing in Russian, in a thread where English is the chosen language? Beat it, if you are not able to recognize your own faults.

And if you read correct some posts above, you'll see that the owner of mooncoinpool has already offered, that he'll refund the missing coins, because of their also too late wallet-update. Did you contact them? Have you joined the IRC, as he proposed? NO, obviously, since you have not reported what they have answered. Then we can assume, that you are either trolling, or really retarded.
I absolutely don't know what is your problem, now. MOON does NOT have a problem, but YOU have. Maybe over there in Russia all of the people are still on the old chain, because they did not update? And your wallet only connects to those peers, making you think that the problem is related to Mooncoin, but in reality it is related to russians, not updating their wallets, and crying about Mooncoin being "hacked" instead?

Did you ever listen to what we said? That at the moment two different blockchains are fighting. And if Mooncoin-wallets are not updated then it could be that some of the wallets are still on the old blockchain and some on the new one. So it is as normal as hardforking any other coin. Again: Maybe your wallet only connects to peers on the old chain. So if you really want to be safe, why do you still move MOON around BEFORE the majority of wallets is updated for sure? Leave your MOON in your own secure ( UPDATED! ) wallet or on the other wallets in the pools/exchanges until you can be safe, that everyone is on the right chain, if you cannot risk and bear a loss.

RTFM, if you don't understand what we are talking about. Or ask questions, instead of shouting out nonsense here.

what happens to the mooncoin? moon do dies?
What kind of silly question is that?
I could as well ask, whether YOU are dying. Or Bitcoin. Or Barack Obama, or Putin.

Edit: But wait - Obama, Putin and you are definitely going to die. Mooncoin and Bitcoin? Most probably not.  Grin

what's your problem man? .. always spreading FUD is completely RETARDED

I'm sure he means Bitcoin, NOT Mooncoin.
Bitcoin has a problem with OpenSSL at the moment (see here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-core-bitcoin-qt-091-released-update-required-562400 and here: https://bitcoin.org/en/release/v0.9.1 ) , which in fact means, that Bitcoin got "hacked".

So, mooncoin1, please delete your post with such untrue "information" about MOON!

My pool http://mooncoinpool.com/ i sent two day ago ~800000 moon. but moon did not come to deposit of cryptsy. Help me please. What do i do?
Do you have a transaction-ID? What are the wallet-addresses of both (pool and receiver). With that information we could check the current (official!) blockchain against that ( http://mooncoin.info/abe/chain/Mooncoin ). Did you contact the pool-owners about that? If so, what did they respond?

And read this post, regarding mooncoinpool.com and the new fork: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389403.msg6101022;topicseen#msg6101022 - as well as the following posts, dealing with that concern.
Sent from http://mooncoinpool.com on Deposite of cryptsy 2DT8DReZPgLHkbW98zbnwugStij8x3oqQe and 2XTUEZ9Q1sr7ryATwNaT92HhVS2N321Dzm

Screenshot doesn't help regarding TXIDs. Copy&Paste is the key. Have you entered the data (wallet addresses, TXIDs) into the search of the official Moonchain-explorer?

--> http://mooncoin.info/abe/chain/Mooncoin

What are the results?

What have the pool-owners replied? Did they update the wallet?

Edit:
As you can see here: http://mooncoin.info/abe/address/2XTUEZ9Q1sr7ryATwNaT92HhVS2N321Dzm one of the withdrawals from the pool made it to that address, apparently --> shown transaction-amount is 11301.08006829
The other address (see http://mooncoin.info/abe/address/2DT8DReZPgLHkbW98zbnwugStij8x3oqQe ) seems to not have gotten the withdrawn amount.

For me it seems, that the other two withdrawals took place, before the pool-owners updated their wallets, hence those Mooncoins are lost into the old blockchain. You will have to wait, what they tell you. Maybe they can replace the lost Mooncoins, if it is as it seems.

Anyone with trouble on mooncoinpool can PM me or join us on IRC #mooncoinpool or #miningempire . I'll get ya hooked up with your MOON.

just downloaded the wallet.

Why is there no daemon provided with the wallet?

I hate it and find it unprofessional when coin developpers don't provide a daemon with the wallet too.

with a lightweight daemon you can easily integrate mooncoin into your own projects / payment processors.

See here: https://github.com/realmooncoin/mooncoin
mooncoind is there.

Edit:
Have you tried placing a mooncoin.conf into the data-directory? --> https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Data_directory (replace Bitcoin with Mooncoin).

Like this one:

rpcuser=someusername
rpcpassword=someverysecretpassword
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1

... which works on Linux for the mooncoind (from Github-rep) in a P2Pool-Server.

I have just placed a sample mooncoin.conf into the data-dir and right after starting the Mooncoin-1.862.1.exe a message with the normal information regarding rpcpassword etc. opened up - which indicates, that the Windows-wallet could work as a daemon, too.

Please report, if it works.

Thanks.

Well I know how to compile a daemon for linux.

I was more asking for a already compiled daemon.exe for windows.

With most other coins if you download a windows qt wallet, you also get a daemon.exe in the same package.

Why mooncoin doesn't have that, I do not understand.

I need the daemon for windows.

Did you contact the dev for that question? You could send him a PM --> username deaconboogie
Using the wallet as the "daemon" is no option for you?

Hey everyone, just figured I'd let you know: Appears that Mooncoinpool.com is on the wrong fork.

Informed them via their IRC (nobody was around), but it seems as if they haven't updated their wallet. Lost ~184k mooncoins.
AltExplorer is also on the wrong fork. (Different from Wallet 1.862.1 / current).

My lost transaction, in block 69188 ... The transaction to 2bEGhenFNFs6swUTFDV9iYAYsuKxBrdgsL: Amt: 183658.blah

As seen, in AltExplorer (wrong fork from Wallet 1.862.1)
https://altexplorer.net/block/b42f37d74100060f8d80b88efe86551083340d4de1cb067cc0114b6dc795a685

Actual Block 69188 in Mooncoinpool ABE, the transaction isn't there.
http://mooncoin.info/abe/block/f1eeed8ba31caaa127607bd10dd9b6d2eee16f7f1f48e7db492ad21fb8bae40f

... So, everyone beware, I guess.
Seems they didn't get the memo about the fork/update, so...
I learned the hard way so you don't have to.

Sorry we didn't update. It got updated very soon after the fork. Anyone with problems can PM me or join us on IRC (#miningempire or #mooncoinpool). I will send you any missing coins.
