correct as I understand it. The wallet should be fully synched before you start mining

honestly what happened to the days a coin could come out and a pool would only show up hours later....now there are 20 pools ready to jump on this coin the second it's released....

I don't believe forking is possible with the method we're releasing.
Source is closed except for our launch partner pool. We establish the blockchain there as the other pools come online when the source is released and they compile it. Once they do that, they will get the blockchain as they join the network. No forking possible that I can see.

I have about 3Mh/s....question is....solo mine first day or pool mine? if all the pools take off at the same time i think solo mining will be difficult right out of the box...no?
I was wondering that too. I will SOLO for an hour and see how the difficult rate goes.Looking at the number of pools ready before launch, I would not suggest solo mining unless the hashrate is above 50Mhash/s.

Same as on here, but all sorted now. Seems session was stuck. Tried in IE and worked fine. Came back later on Chrome and worked fine.
