The Moonlite platform will provide opportunities which an existing system is not able to provide technically.

What are the additional opportunities?

No risk, no fun!
Good news will be announced on December, 30, the 3rd anniversary of Mooncoin,
regarding exchanges: of course it's important to have MOON listed on big exchanges, however if you don't want to sell your coins asap, there are more important things to do in the near future, e.g. building real Mooncoin infrastructure - a good task for 2017.
Infrastructure? Switch finally to federatedblockchain.eu.org (read the whitepaper) and

so essentially, you're describing ditching mooncoin's own native blockchain and either encapsulating it into your chain/turning it into a token?

we've already seen several rocky roads ahead of ethereum (DAO fork, upcoming PoS chain announcements), if this is your chosen method of implementation.
what happens if your chain suffers a failure?

james

its not a chain. So never have a broken chain drama...read the whitepaper...:-D

That's a good question.

One of the main advantages of Mooncoin is its simplicity. To be honest, I'm not even sure, whether the Moonlite-system is the right way to go, as it puts another layer on top of the already working system of sending and receiving Mooncoins directly. Why not simply tip someone by sending them MOON to their published Mooncoin-address? This system works for years now.

Could you describe in several sentences how the federated blockchain project could help MOON?

Why not reading whitepaper? Wink

Only one of many facts:
Do you imagine, what would happen, if you could use Ethereum or Lisk platforms with Moon without using thirdparties like exchanges?

Nice to see that something is going on around mooncoin Smiley I need to find out where I hid my wallet Smiley

I also think that Yobit is not good idea for moon.
On the other hand, without some events around mooncoin, there is no chance to get on Bittrex or Poloniex.
Maybe C-cex.com or hitbtc.com?  Roll Eyes

I do not like yobit , i prefer livecoin.net in the top 20 exchange list http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/
and Mooncoin already appears in the voting list  Roll Eyes

To be honest i never hear about this exchange, but looks nice.  Cheesy Bad information is that they don't like my VPN  Roll Eyes
Good information that moon is on voting list! Let's vote guys!

Any more good news about mooncoin?

Yobit is a good trading platform. Why not try to get Moon on there? I trade iCoin on there and think that it is a very reliable platform.

Wink

You never get fast updates there...But if u can handle that, why not?

Greetz
Steve

Yobit is the internets arsehole of cryptocurrency.
No quicker way to kill an altcoin.

No thanks.

Mooncoin cannot be killed more...its awesome cheaper than cheap. Mooncoin's reputation cannot killed because existence of over 3 years now.
Yobit is only one piece more of the whole puzzle to spread Mooncoin for the masses!

Mooncoin at Bitcointalk
bittrex or livecoin will add moon, only when the price consolidating in btc market, probably when it will be at least 4 to 6 satoshi and with acceptable volume ...

If a coin is not ICO nor any token, created with pump-and-dump purpose, it's not an exchange what makes a coin great.
The real userbase and real use creates value.
If people need a coin for real use, they obviously will see no problem to buy it on Bleutrade.

Reminder:
the most active MOON market currently is the Bleutrade MOON/DOGE market: https://www.bleutrade.com/exchange/MOON/DOGE,
don't buy MOON for BTC, the BTC market is for big investors only (if any) and only if they are not able to buy the amount they need on not btc markets,
if you are buying small amounts, you may want to consider -DOGE and -LTC based markets, where prices are very low indeed.

It's a crying shame that polo doesn't want to list it.

Don't tell people to plug this money into a junk sh**coin...

You contradict yourself.

Edit: your idea is generally clear, MOON needs more liquidity and listing at big exchanges,
but a junk or not - that doesn't depend on exchanges, Poloniex sometimes lists a coin, then delists it, and all investors are burnt with that.
