Is application for researchers open for those interested to apply?
as far as i know you don't need to apply to become a researcher as long as you have their token they called it MZX if i'm not mistaken you can be a part of the research  as a contributor and you will rewarded if you give the right information in the research that is my understanding when i read the white paper correct me if i'm wrong

You can’t just be a researcher because you have MZX tokens, you need to be vettted, and accredited to be one.
thank you for the correction i mis understand it

Do you mean we have to perform KYC first to become an accredited researcher?

If we have to, are there other procedures other than KYC to have the position?

Yes it’s in their white paper that you need submit KYC documents. You need to register using your real name and submit documents like government issued ID, proof of address etc.

I don’t think there are other options but I maybe wrong.

MMIP stands for - Mosaic Market Intelligence Protocol

MMIP has the following specific properties which are crucial to Mosaic's vision.

MMIP has 4 key aspects:

1. Identity verification
2. A rewards mechanism
3. Anonymous ratings and reviews
4. User protection

ah ok can you explain more about that 4 aspect for me to understand more about MMIP

can you explain more about this

1. Identity verificaton
2. Trust-minimized economic engine
3. MZX Staking Mechanism
4. Trust-minimized research coverage
5. Anonymous ratings and critiques

1. Identity verification -  all users should register using real identities and must submit government issued ID, proof of billing add etc.

2. Trust-minimized economic engine - researchers with accurate and quality posts as upvoted by members will be rewarded. They are rewarded at the each of each month, the amount of which depends on the activity on their profile and content

3. MZX Staking Mechanism - researchers posting content that is heavily downvoted will lose their MZX tokens. These tokens will be returned to the pool and will be used for rewarding contributors.

4. Trust-minimized research coverage - no individual or group controls the specific set of cryptoasset topics covered on the platform. MZX holders vote for the topics they would like to see covered on the platform and rate for researchers posting good and quality content.

5. Anonymous ratings and critiques - the Mosaic platform ensures all ratings and comments are anonymous, while ensuring mechanisms are
in place to punish users who abuse such a privilege.

I don't understand why there is a need to hide the identity of person giving rating and comments. what is the reason for this? I think its best that there should be transparency for the users to also counter check and verify the credibility of the one making the ratings and the comments.

Hi there! I think the answer goes back to one of Mosaic's key principles which ensures that all ratings and reviews are anonymous. The fact that Mosaic curates the content on the platform according to the users’ past ratings and reviews should incentivize users to rate the content honestly and consistently. In turn this will affect the reliability of contributions without regard to the identities of the raters and/or commenters. For instance, users will see more from contributors who have been rated highly in the past, and less from those who have received low ratings.

The ratings and review process is further reinforced by a rewards mechanism that distributes MZX to users who upvote content.

Will the platform have a website version too?

It's not confirmed yet but probably yes.

I hope they would consider having one..
It would make sense to have a web-version of the platform because it would make the platform accessible to wherever you are.
